this thread is on a devilish page!! quick question for the X owners. watching igetcha's video review of the X, the button looks very different than the current paps buttons. no outer sleeve surrounding the actual button and no little feet. are there any issues with the mod firing standing up without locking the button?

Scott has 2 reviews for the GP Series mods and one for the Spheroid. From your description I suppose you watched the GP PAP LUX review. The no 1 spring (soft) is for light atties like Spheroid and the other 2 for heavier ones. It comes with the no 2 already installed which withstand almost all atties.

thanks idaho!! you guys are lightning quick!! good to hear that the button is solid. :) now why so many of these places don't offer overnight shipping is beyond me!! patience is not one of my strong points

Every unit has to be checked and assembled by hand, even the polishing is custom. We are a small company with a limited production which releases small but frequent batches to insure a better customer after sales service.

Speaking of Vaporwall, my "user name is currently inactive" and has been for months. Are they not taking new members or do I smell bad?

I got the same and still can't log in so I just gave up.. LOL

ditto - same thing here

Send me via pm the nickname you used to apply for the VW and I will proceed it to Del Boy for activation. Idaholandho offered kindly to do the same and if you know another member of VW ask him to help.

True, this is the other side of VapourArt's story that many never see. There are many many GP owners that never even see this side of the team. I still can not wrap my head around how many members that own PAPS I see around the threads that I have never seen or heard of. Yet they have 1 PAPS and an Atomo, GM and the other cloners that were close to the same $.
How can you compare these similar mods with the PAPS? and why do you own the others? Funny.

Anyway, what is the plural usage of PAPS? PAPSES? PAPSI? PAPSICLES? yes, I have a bit of spare time right now but, still want to know.

The bloody Atomo is more expensive:mad: It is even pricier than the LUX (which is the best mod money can buy IMHO alongwith the Paps-X), while having the build quality of a $20 EHPRO mod:grr: AND the modder is a greedy ....... - who calls himself a salesman! Yes, that's what he wrote to me in black & white!

I cannot wait! My Paps X is on its way to me from domo. It looks absolutely stunning. And everyone notice how you can't find a clone if a paps? That's because these things are manufactured so well and so intricate. You can't duplicate the stuff P puts out. It won't happen. I'm a proud owner of a SS Paps 2.5 and now an X.

Check my thread, roger that!

Edit: Located in Russia. ;(

There is a member, GP fam, who "might" be interested, if given a little time to pull some cheese together. I stated I would pull it down and wait. GP code. ;)

I think thats me your talking about. Don't get paid again until Nov, also gotta check with the wife, Christmas is coming and apparently we have family members and friends that like getting things. I have no issues waiting for the next batch too if you sell it or decide to keep it.

This is going to sound absurd, but until today, I did not have a "X". I finally got one :))) and I have to say, its superb. I literally did not even set it up until about 4 minutes ago but I am blown away. Not surprised obviously, but just speechless.

The switch and the size feels like it was literally made for my hands. You know how some devices will not sit right or how sometimes the edge of the switch hits your finger in such a way where it feels sharp or presses the wrong way? Not this one. I swear Perseas took measurements of my hand specifically when he designed this one.

Who knows? maybe he did?? :)

Thanks my friend. Its a beauty.

oh, number 422 checking in. I love 2's and 8's :)

Very nice B! 422 is a fantastic number. Funny how some of us have our numbers mine being 3's and factoring of 3. (Just had this conversation with a good friend here).
It is such a solid mod.
Domo

Domo....

I just got around to watching Scott's video(Love that chap!) after someone commented. I have described those threads as feeling hydraulic and it was interesting to hear his comments of the threads as he is describing hydraulic yet not using the word. And his button description is perfect. I messaged him once about the button on another Greek builders mod that attempted a nice build and button and the failure. Yet, the X nailed it. Impressive.
