Yes, it will be something like that. We are 2 months behind from the scheduled production due to relocation of one of our CNC facilities.
A new CNC has been received and there was no room to the existing location for it. We are a small company as you know and I mean it literally :)

But, Big at Heart... we salute you for that Sir!

Besides aesthetics, what is the advantage of a hybrid connector?

In my mind, a hybrid limits the usability of a atomizer to a single thread pitch with no practical upside; maybe overall lower resistance?

Meh. I'll be the first to admit to being a hipster - I love the shiny exclusives, but I'm strictly function over form like my 1911s and ARs

An atty with an embodied proprietary connection can reduce the overall length and releases the space occupied by a 510 connection to other functions.

Actually Perseas could help us out easily with this thing. It shouldn't take much effort of his...

What say, Perseas? :)

My friend, it has been done already by 2 other modders. And the approach above has more parts than the existing 510 connection.

thank you for the thoughtful reply. i can see the appeal in a shorter form factor, but that is exactly why my Paps/Luxes are in daily rotation. the 350s are by far the shortest i own - 60mm by my calipers. Hybridizing a Paps would reduce the overall height by just a hair over 3mm - a reduction of 5%.

Of course, this is just on the mod - I presume the shortening of the atomizer is the bigger win.

Perseas, it'd be the same thing as the existing 510 head. We could 'avoid' the top-cap and 'add' just (1)the brass ring having an external M20/1 threading, and (2)a 20mm Delrin with a Telescopic Post.

And get a kickass look...

completely different topic, but would it be prohibitively expensive to tool up for 23mm SnP tank (quartz tank and caps) like the current 22mm version?

I find that i prefer the look of the 22mm version, the flush fit, and would love the same for my X.

There already is a 23mm SNP tank :)

I prefer a proprietary connection of the atomizer itself than a generic one. Otherwise as curicu correctly mentioned the only benefit is a trivial gain of 3 mm in height.

Food for thought, I have some ideas also for a future version of a SnP, but not enough CNC machines to produce many different versions of the same product at once.

From the moment our resources are limited, a precious factor for determining our future strategy, regarding the next releases, is a combination of careful planning and user's feedback.

Guys, we really appreciate your suggestions and we always add them to our brainstorming process of a product's creation.

I totally agree with you Perseas, a connector such as the Svoemesto semovar hybrid kit would be much less problematic and actually offers some functional benefit as there could be less between the battery and coil.

The hybrid adaptor I have got gives a great look but is far more fiddly than a standard top cap so the only benefit is the nice look. The kayfun looks perfect atop the paps, the finish is near enough identical. Making the insulator was a real PITA.
I am stalking the Rampage one but I haven't seen any come to stock yet.
