I know i know. I also was quite good at that boardgame called Operation back in the day too. But when you vape 30-36mg, keeping a steady hamd ain't so easy.

Actually Q (who just happens to be my fav character on ST:NG) my convoluted post earlier was just my sac attempt at offering someone in need here, an ohms meter :)

But something tells me there's no newbies here so probably wrong place wrong time. What can I say except that Biggies' screws were getting to me, I wanted to one-up him in generosity :p

RHP

Hey! I don't have an ohm meter lol.. I never can find them in stock when I have the $$$. Vicious circle, really.

Dear Perseas,
Momma has had some pretty good luck in the classifieds and is saving her money for a Bead Blasted GP Spheroid...do you believe Domo will see them this week or possibly next.
Best Regards...Iowa

Hello Iowa Gal,

Around the end of this week, we shall have GP Spheroids in polished and brushed finish, if they pass QC without any issue. The bead blasted ones need an extra treatment, so I believe that we'll send them to our resellers in 10 - 12 days at most.

Yup. I'll never understand buying a 75$ tank to sit on a 200$ mech to then just end up vaping a $1.50 carto.

Some people want top of the line GP gear but don't want to mess with rebuildables.. A GP Paps and a SnP is an awesome combo that attracts many and some are just afraid and / or don't want to mess with an RBA..

I can't stand cartos but hey, keeps Boge in bizz I suppose.

I get that. Please reread my post as it had nothing to do with who, what, where. It was more about the unsafe practice. When a younger minded and impressionable individual and tries to duplicate a sub ohm set up with no exp. or mathmatical skills then

There are many on this forum that and other forums that also see this as a sport.
I am not making a stance to argue about it. Just my personal feelings

Taking a break for a bit.

I want to clear up something extremely important:

Vapourart as a company (read our ToS) and me personally won't endorse the use of α subohm resistance (ULR: ultra low resistance value below 1Ω) with our mods for any reason. An ULR, no matter what battery someone uses, cannot be considered safe, at least with the current batteries specs and when I read about values of 0,2Ω and 0,3Ω, OMG!

I feel like living scenes from the movie Idiocracy of 2006. We don't need more electrolytes (see the movie), it is better to learn to make a micro coil, to use a kick, or start smoking again, if the other alternative is to create a potential grenade. This is not a sport, this is pure stupidity with deep ramifications for the whole vaping community from just one incident.

Very well said Brother. This is one of the very reasons that separate You, George and the Team apart from the rest.

I see this as the care you have for each of us. As you put everything aside to make sure your extended family is safe. I am sure I speak for all when this time I don't thank you for creating a device and your hard work, I thank you for the concern as you put aside everything to make sure we are around to enjoy GP and safe vaping.

We all know that this thread is a special one here on ECF and any forum would be proud to have the members we have and the relationship that we share.
I am sure there are none here that practice this type of vaping, just having the picture and the discussion that ensued may send the wrong message to someone browsing. We have had many members appear telling us that they have not posted but have been following and personally I found it embarrassing.
As I said, we here are a bit different on this thread, a higher class vapor and I feel that is how many view GP devices and should.

Thread peeps - I was able to read a thread on FB tonight that was disturbing about a sub-ohm set up and a hot button on a GP PAPS. The ohms were dangerously low and the comments and advice was beginner and thoughtless. The individual's GP bomb was ticking and he nor anyone else had a clue. Advice like, "clean the button and it should run cooler" was shared and was embarrassing to read. His vaping career will be short lived, let just hope for Perseas he will not be holding a PAPS when it happens.

Thanks Perseas for everything we all love you Bro :).

So, still waiting on my Paps X to get here (shipping from Australia D: ).. While I wait, can someone tell me what GP stands for? I see the guy who makes them's name is Perseas....so I'm guessing that's what the P stands for. And that seems to be a alternate spelling of the god Perseus' name. So, I'm thinking it stands for God Perseas/Perseus? Now if that's not right, please correct me. The one I can't even begin to guess at is Paps. What is that all about? lol

I'm just trying to better understand the naming of this product. Seems there are a lot of "edgy" names out there, but we were all drawn to the mod named "Paps".

I'm thinking George is the "G" & Perseas is the "P", but I could be mistaken ;)

G stands for George and as the first letter of the nickname of my fist name, P for Perseas, P stands also for the first letter of George's surname and my own surname. PAPS is an abbreviation of George's surname.

For me that would not work either. But, IMHO, if a man/woman loves the style, grace and workmanship of a GP Paps with an SnP on top and gets a satisfying vape from a simple cardo...good for them!
