Get the Hippo... it has an AFC.

Pro Ring has an air flow control too by design, I tried to explain it but it seems nobody understands it, because it is too understated, but that is the way we designed it :D

I have a Hippo attached to one of my Provari and I have a Pro Ring for my second Provari. I use them both and I am happy with them.

What Phil didn't explain is that you have to unscrew the Pro Ring from the bottom cap in order to close the air flow and you can adjust it also, because it is designed that way. The opposite would be wrong. Anybody who has the Pro Ring can confirm it.

Below are my 2 Provari with 2 SnP, a GP SnP with experimental gold plated 23 mm covers and Hippo and the a GP SnP with experimental titanium tank, a 22 mm top cover and Pro Ring.

I commenced my vape journey with Cartos (Boge F16), alongside the eRoll. One for out-n-about and the other for voluminous satisfaction! I loved the cartos, ahh still do ~ and take them out once a while even now. I didn't find anything wrong with them... then got Gennies and found these were wrong contraptions* - and continued with my Cartos until Kayfuns happened. I thus still recommend Cartos to new vapers - and lend them a hand as well.

*Per raqball ~ we are all so different, some swear by Gennies and I disliked them:)

Q!
Agreed Bro!

No issues with cartos here. I will use one in a heartbeat if I am somewhere when I can not afford issues or have the means or want to
repair.
My wife can rebuild a Spheroid and an Odysseus like a champ but, enjoys cartos in both of her SnP's....did i mention that she now has claimed them both, hence my comment a page ago about needing one.
At one time they where part of my daily, can't just turn my back!
The whole plan a few weeks ago about switching SnP tanks with her backfired...pff. The gentle wind of karma for my humorous thoughts of that evening is picking up and she somehow has them both.

I did not know that. I fear my Pro Ring will collect dust anyway. I can't put my Paps down, folks!

Lman - it was just the thought of. I dare not to act on such plans. It was her Jedi mind trick to obtain the tank.

I am getting weak and the testosterone coursing through my veins is a watered down solution of what once was. It is time for me to retire my battle skills and pass them to my offspring.

We have a saying here, the man is the leader of the family, the head, but the woman is the neck, she decides where the head turns :D So, any ninja attempt is a futile attempt in my opinion.

Fantastic! Awesome!
That Pro-Ring actually makes more sense now. Thank you for explaining it Perseas.

Just checking in. A couple of comments and a question......

First, hope you are all well. I am busy with work (as some of you know :)) and today woke up to a terrible cold.

I agree 100% with Perseas and the whole "sub ohm" issue. I have been saying the same thing for some time. I am not sure what the obsession is with sub ohm's.

About a year ago, when people really started messing with them more, I remember a close friend and I having a discussion about them. He said something that I found very interesting. He said that when we smoked, we never worried about throat hit or vapor. We just did it. We never thought I want more of this feeling, or less of that. I wonder if it is because of the number of different flavors and maybe that has driven many to experiment in this way.

I am certainly no expert in machining or electricity. I probably know less about battery chemistry than many. I DO know this. They were not meant to push the limits of these batteries in the way many are pushing in terms of these setups. I have personally never built a sub ohm setup and have no desire. When I do, its is a accident, and I rebuild it. :)

I have to admit I think a huge bonding moment for Perseas and I was probably when we both realized that we loved Idiocracy. One of the most underrated movies ever. :)

So I just received a couple of Taifun's. Purchased mostly because of some of you. I have had Kayfun's for some time and think they are great. I cannot quite figure out how to set up the Taifun's properly. I tried eko and now have cotton/microcoil in there, which seems great. I was just wondering what you guys liked? I have to say, it looks stunning on the "X" :)

Hope you are all well. Oh, number 888 X checking in :)

I am grateful for my buddies and close Vape girls D, Tyleris, Iowa, Tenshi and Anavidfan. They have always had a way of keeping me in check :). It is nice to have the Yin in all passages of life for balance :). A couple of them can tell you there was a time in our vaping career I needed it!

Thanks for cueing me on who some of the womenfolk are 'cause I have a lousy track record at guessing genders on ECF (calling sisters brothers and brothers sisters) although sometimes I speak the things I write outloud, which is ok until your lady overhears you talking to your iPad

Who are you talking to?
--just the little people inside my iPad, dear

The point I'm trying to make is, get an iPad folks!

I'll check it out (movie) thanks Ob, peer pressure is a bumblebee I tells ya

RhP

You definitely should check it out!! And I agree with Ob, very under-rated movie!!

From the movie: "The years passed, mankind became stupider at a frightening rate. Some had high hopes the genetic engineering would correct this trend in evolution, but sadly the greatest minds and resources where focused on conquering hair loss and prolonging erections."

Love that movie! It's easy to get a little down on "humanity" and the direction it's going afterwards. While it's a hilarious premise and film, it can also be very frightening and depressing to contemplate.

This video is a nice take on the opposite. Kind of a longer video, but I found it interesting.
