So remember last night how we were talking mods and phones etc in the bathroom. Well my 5s fell out of my pocket this morning when I was reaching over the toilet and it went for a swim :( It was only submerged for a second or two so I'm hoping when it try to power it up tomorrow afternoon it's OK.

On the upside I'll have my PAPSX tomorrow so that will help balance out my phone being messed up if that's the case. Don't really have the 800 for a new one , so here's hoping. … :(

You try the rice trick already Chad?
If not I have a iphone 4 in good shape with tons of cases that I am sure we could work something out on. it is setup for verizon so I am not sure if that works for your company?

Already sold, lol. I was trying to get it because I need another switch. Grrr!!

Edit: It was on the classifieds for 20 mins! Wow!!

There is a 18490 further down under stuff I don't use anymore for $90

I thought about buying this, but I'm not going to lose out like I did with extreme:)
Add $50+ for the gpin upgrade and you might as well just hold out to get the v3
When I bought my x from xtreme I did not even know about this thread and the 1.5. However I am still glad that I have the x.

I'm currently using a perfectly good 4s as a back up for the day. If this fails there is another 4s in the house and if that failed there is a 4 here as well lol.

Thanks though.

Ok, got some questions....
My new sophia is not cooperating. I am using the premade that it came with, bleed all the air out, and its wicking just fine. The issue is, that it has a burnt taste to it. Any ideas?

Next?, I got some ready wires from Stormy's that extreme gave me. Do I just wrap a micro coil with it or do I still need to weld an additional wire to it? I imagine its ready to go. Anyone have any links handy on wrapping the coil with these? Thanks

Infrnl, the ready wires are ready to wrap. You'll find two welds. Just make sure you use the resistance wire (between the welds) to make your coil and you're all set.

I completely understand. But I go to the website, and can't even find a "GP PAPS 350", and, what about all the extra parts - which of those do I need (I own a SnP 22mm with PRO ring)? I am still enough of a newbie that I don't understand all of the lingo and terms. Am I needing to buy "one item", or, the mod plus this, plus that, plus new different batteries, etc, etc - then instead of bout $140 shipped, I'm looking at $250-$300 again like for my ProVari. Can't do that for my first mod...
Looks like I got beat out, no reason reply. I will pm you again shortly.

Tonight Karma smiled on me.
Short version, before one of my daily breaks I walk my beloved big ... face licking dogs around dusk. I like darkness when walking. D wasn't home to enforce the "no GP while exercising" rule. Tonight I was a free man and stuck my MS and a newly setup Spheroid in my pocket. At the halfway point or pushup point I realized it was gone. Looked and looked with flashlight app all the way home. Grabbed a real flashlight and more clothes(for the tundra) and on my second run....Boom found em in a bit of snow. GP drip tip missing.
For just a second I was relieved followed by a strict policy of no man left behind....Boom found it also.
Karma taught me a lesson today and was smiling!

I know some of you are thinking, At least you didn't bring it in the bathroom and Chad is thinking, I wish he brought it in the bathroom :). < That's my rule though.

I think I posted earlier that I lost mine for 2 days...I had stuck it in the leather boot around my gearshift, and it had snuggled down in there...black & silver, just like my car's interior...

I saw these over the holidays and contemplated getting a couple for tiny mods, and other things I tend to misplace.

Idaho,

I HATE losing stuff. I misplace almost everything I own on a daily basis, but lose stuff, never! It makes me crazy. I would have done the same thing.

woody, I spend so much time at Michaels, I feel like I am working there. I am always there with a very INTERESTING group of people. I love that place oddly :)
