They are in stock though...Vcoupe if he does sell, is a retail seller :)

Vaporcraze - Great vendor.

Yea, I purchased from VCoupe before. He goes MIA for weeks on end.

I was looking for more of a trade at this point, but I'll be scooping it up next month if the opportunity arises.

I'm curious as to how long a battery lasts being drained and recharged. When is it time to discard?

I'm wondering about that as well. They say that our batteries should be fine for 300-500 cycles, but I don't think so. I've got 2 Panasonic CGR'CH batteries, which are over 1.5 years old and they do feel old. I've charged them about 250 times (maybe every other day). I go through both of them in one day, but my newer batteries.. for them I need only 1 per day. I think it's time to throw them in the old batteries bin.
I've read somewhere that we should change our batteries every year. Maybe it's true, maybe not? Don't know :)

BTW Those Sony VTC4's are great, as good as the Panasonic NCR18650PD/PF. I generally don't vape sub-ohm, but that extra layer of protection (30amps) is very very nice ;)

GP-Spheroid : Qorax's Bongo Coil build!
~A pictorial on "split" Microcoil & S'n'C Cotton Yarn build on my fav Spheroid...

BOTTOMLINE:
Built it yesterday, it's now 24-hrs and two tanks thru, vaping my 3rd, so can genuinely opine on the build. It vapes very well. Awesome VTF for a 1.2Ω coil with 5-wraps each section (total 10-wraps) on freshly charged 14500 AW-IMR. Replaced batteries between 2.5 to 3-hrs. Tested on 18500 as well, between 3.8V to 4.2V on my Provari, gr8 performance. Also tested against 18350 on my LUX and now rocking it with 18650 on my Paps-X... Bam! Purrfect! No wicking issues under any setup. And fortunately, no sagging of the wick as well. The "U" placement of the wick seems to work just right. Good & recommended setup

a) Avoided sub-ohm since I wanted to primarily use it on my Piccolos.
b) S'n'C cotton yarn must be pre-boiled. Pls see >my post< on its preparation.
c) What is a 'Bongo'?
d) If you use it pls refer it as Qorax's Bongo-Coil hereon.
e) Thanks for bearing with me, my friends!

Q thanks of this, I'll be giving it a try. I used to do this on my Kayfuns and quite liked the results, but found that there wasn't much improvement over the regular straight coil build.

My new-used PAPs is here`! My lovely wife just handed me a package that arrived yesterday - had no idea it came. 18650 tube, new AW battery, freshly polished Simply wonderful! And the switch! I honestly do not think 'switch' is the proper name for what this is and how softly it crosses from off to on to off again. Me and my bad hands can 'click' it with a pinky - wow...

So do you find batteries tend to last "X" amount of months? Obviously there are variables, but a good rule of thumb is what I was curious about.

Honestly Digi, the rule of thumb rests on your vaping style, battery care and battery type.
Example - I use IMR exclusively, average 10-12 watts each build - sometimes more sometimes less, I have 8-10 batteries of each size in rotation with new extras on hand, my smaller batteries last 5-6 months for 60+ cycles, my larger batteries a bit longer.
I also never run a battery under 3.6v before recharge...saves a ton of money(and good reason to kick).
Meter coils and batteries. I throw away batteries that still charge and operate if they do not charge to recommended 4.2 + or -.
If a battery gets hot from a stuck switch or such, it goes in the trash after a safe cool down. Some will put them in the refer to cool and reuse if they hold a charge. Not this guy.
I went through a phase with the old PAPS switch when I would forget to lock it. I hated myself and Lighthound was sending me weekly reminders to buy batteries :).
Batteries are rudimentary in our world and understanding ohms law, amps, volts etc.is undervalued.

So glad. Was the battery dated? :)

Isn't it a thing to behold? The threading, the finish, the....
