It is brass... Brass that's plated with silver then 24k gold.

ah, the description threw me off cuz it says center post... i didn't realize the center post was part of the button. i guess that explains why mine was already scuffed up when it arrived.. gold plating isn't all that robust.

Crap. That is all. Many thread issues with his copy garbage buddy.

I Wouldn't go that far, I wouldn't think it's any more of a copy of the paps than saying caravela is. Not a lot of room for completely uniqueness in simple tubes. That said, I do have issues with the threading of the lock, and an issue where I have a gap if I try to reverse the top and bottom caps. But it hits hard and has minimal voltage loss. I prefer my 2 paps 2.5s but until I find an alternative 23mm mod I'll keep the astro.

I hear you Troy and enjoy it. Just not a fan of copy's.

Oh different subject but your issues are some of the same and the reason I had my Nemesis 24 hours before I traded. Mods and devices that I own must be seemless and perfect through and through to include from exterior finish, thread gaps, switch operation and feel as well as interior finish(ocd, I know). I couldnt stand it. It just felt cheap.

Anyway, I struggle to find as good or better work than GP, certainly the Americans dont seem to compete.

Be Well Buddy!

While I don't "love" the P+ buttons, there is no denying that the P+ line-up is quality. I definitely Like the Paps more because of the flat button, and super small form factor, the P+ is definitely a quality mod. Not getting confrontational, just sticking up for at least one quality American mod. Dave is a pretty decent guy too.

Hello my freinds, i think i may migrate over here from the zen thread, i've got people that have been my freinds for over a year PMing me and saying nasty things bc i've complained in a thread that someone started on fb (on behalf of my buddy who i reccommended it to), about the many problems with the zen2, but he wasted $600 on my reccommendation as his first pv, and now im going to have to get on my minilathe this wekend to try and maybe turn out a couple adjustable positive posts for it (if you dont mind me borrowing the concept perseas) I never trashed the guy, I respect mike just as much as I respect perseas, but I just felt that people should know, I mean for example among the other problems, nowhere did it say that for the $600 you only get one switch to use between all 3 mods. But i digress, lol im actually having a good thursday for the first time in weeks, mostly due to the fact that im working from home today.

Todays vape.... my gf might hoard all the rest of the good stuff for herself and not let me use it, but these 3 little guys are all mines  the big difference for me is that I can set all 3 down without locking, sure I lock them when I take them to work with me in my pocket but not having to do that every time I take a vape makes a huge difference for me.

And yes I take 3 setups with me every day, lol... mostly bc theres 3 diy's I cant live without, my orange dreamsicle, lemon lime tropical punch, and my ecto cooler (a clone of the ghostbusters juice box from when we were kids) (I wont mention what their names are... my gf comes up with a funny/crude name for all our juices but im not sure what the rules are in this forum, for example "Exploding .... lab" bc that names not that bad as some of the others... lol)... so it has to be these 3 bc i mixed it that way for the flavors to hold up under low ohm. Also if I let one of my faves out of my sight, she would add it to her collection and I wouldbnever see it again... lol, no joke, i havent vaped my "birthday gift" in months , so I take them with me or hide them when I leave the apt.

But for the first time since I started vaping I think im finally satisfied enough to chill out on the buying for a while. Btw perseas youve really hit it out of the park with the 2.1 and 2.5 upgrades my friend I think you can be proud to say and we can all agree that you're mod is one of the top 3 right now. the new switch is a dream, I meant what I said my freind youve outdone yourself and your mod outshines the caravela... I love to use the dripper when im just chilling out watching tv or not doing anything (video games require a genny though, lol) so the paps is what gets used the most while I'm just relaxing.

Btw those metal trueflow tips with the wide tapered mouth are excellent for dripping, if your going to make tips, i'd love to see one with a hidden tapered bore that doesnt look bored out like some of those pinoy drip tips, bc the big bore ones are amazing for dripping but theres so few decent-looking ones. also the most solid tips I have are my vapelab wave and vapelab brass/ss LE, heiko puts two o rings on which, imo make a huge difference. Whatever you come up with though, perseas I'm sure we will all love it, my gf is kinda crazy about collescting drip tips (even worse than certain mods), theyre like pokémon to her so a gp drip tip will be a must-have.

I've no problem my friend, make the posts :)

We've made a humble drip tip with 2 o-rings, I'll post photos later.

got my Astro by Kato and while it looks great and is 23mm (thats why i bought it, for my terminators) the bottom switch/button just plain sucks. I am spoiled by the paps 2.5 switch!
Perseas, whats the word on the 23mm paps X? I need it badly :)

If it protrudes more than it should be, then you need a new holding nut. Send an email to info(at)vapourart.com and we shall fix it.

As for the GP PAPS X, all things are progressing well, in 10 days the production of the switch starts and we are testing now the air flow control.

Thanks Perseas :thumb:. I will.

EDIT: Do I send him the whole switch or I disassemble the button only?
