I ought an answer here, because the question is pretty reasonable.

Me and George, believe that the best characteristic of a mod is the right handling, the kinaesthetic feeling you receive, just by holding it and playing with its button, ring, caps etc. Many times per day, we open the cap and we screw-unscrew the tube. In order to use extension sleeves in the 22 mm GP PAPS v2.5, a M21 threading is needed which means, threads will be thin and the feeling of the mod will change, it won't be robust, but delicate and that is not what we like.

The 23 mm territory is the road for us, to apply extension sleeves, airflow controls etc keeping a minimalistic look and without sacrificing the handling. The 22 mm mods have to be simple. Of course, this is something that reflects our own way of perceiving the design of a mod, and it isn't necessary the optimal approach for someone else.

What a great answer buddy. The PAPS has been very successful and the reason many of us are loyal to you and own many is because of the look, feel and construction. It is artful a beautiful mod yet so simple. It feels solid in the hand and is the perfect size for all. All of the parts work together in a way instruments do to make beautiful music.
You know some of the expensive mods I have owned and sold because they didnt feel right in the hand and I couldnt get over the look of a pieced together device. (one of them is the hottest Greek mods on the market and I had mine less than a day or two - didnt feel or look right). I can care less if voltage drop is amazing as if the rest is not appealing I dont want it. Voltage drop at some point does not matter anyway once it measures at a certain point. Even the best vapers can not tell the difference after certain level.

You and George keep doing what you do best, we know when you two are building/working it is to bring out the best of all worlds and not just one key part like many builders. This is why GP is so successful.
I still talk about how you and Imeo respect each other so much, I have talked to you both and there is great respect between you.
You also know that is one of the reasons I am loyal aside from the fact that you are a caring and good man. That means a lot these days.
You give ideas or suggest items to most builders and they ignore, don't listen or get mad. I've been down that road and so has another buddy of yours here (pita Kiba!).
Any way brother keep doin it and go tell George thank you also.

Being a vaper for a while now, having touched many devices,
I have come to a realization that
Paps v2.5 LUX is the BEST MOD and Kayfun Lite is the BEST ATTY out there;
And together they are the best combo money can buy as of today!

______________________________________________________________
Given their Product Quality, Vape Satisfaction, Form Factor, Price Point,
Ease of Use and Overall Performance, IMHO.

In continuance to my aforesaid realization... while at 16-17mm,
The GP Spheroid is the BEST SMALL RBA and YK Ba Gua* is the current BEST SLIM MOD!
Based on a superior vape experience, plug-n-play set up, quality of design and off course - the Price Point.

*Soon maybe replaced by GP Piccolo Classic, when I fianlly get it.... uh, 4 x months now stalking Perseas :(

We have to take into consideration our roadmap for the near future, after the GP PAPS X, GP Spheroid and GP SnP, we have to produce first a 22 mm GP Spheroid, the new GP Piccolo, the GP Perseas atomizer, and another 2 projects. The M21 threading is too thin for a 22 mm mod, though I keep your proposal for further examination. I cannot prioritise it in regards to the aforementioned projects, due to our limited number of CNC machines. But things change all the time :)

As for the 23 mm "wide" OD, give me some time to present the GP PAPS X and maybe you change your mind about what feels best in the hand. I speak from personal experience.

Aha, a GP Perseas Atomizer? Sounds interesting already :)

To add to what Perseas said, every time you add a mechanical connection (threaded or press fit) to the electrical circuit, you add resistance. This is especially true as the surfaces of the metal begin to oxidize.

As a general rule, the fewer mechanical connections between the battery and the coil, the better... At least in terms of overall conductivity.

...and the GP Paps X is going to do just that... IT IS a 'sectional design'.

GP Lux/K-Lite and Ba Gua/Spheroid are my current 'most loved and used' devices.

The feedback is a crucial factor for the development of a mod beyond v1 and Imeo has spent and continues to dedicate thousands of hours discussing with vapers here on ECF. Back in 2011, I learned about vaping and GGTS reading his posts on ECF and later I discovered that there was a Hellenic forum for mods! Beyond him being a pioneer modder, he always responds to every vaper's questions and requests and this behaviour is embedded as a characteristic quality in his creations.

Thank you for your loyalty and your appraisal my friend, we'll do our best to honour them.

It is a matter of days to start the last runs for GP Piccolo v2.6 and v3.1 with GP Piccolo v2. We want to combine the 2 batches in one, (mod and atomizer) to save shipping cost for people who want them both. Summertime means less pockets and light mods :)

Very true but can be somewhat made up for in quality threading and tube mating.
I dont think I have ever been so disaapointed when I was sent my Nemesis. The drop wasnt what was claimed and the inserted threading which was clearly identified from the outside along with the tube seams were disturbing to me. I never used it once, just stared at it and mocked it with my GP mods before I sold it the next day.
It was a far cry from the quality they have produced. But, going to stick with what I love now.

We've produced only 125 CP Piccolo Classic and 90 of them were sold on last December as v2.5, while the rest will be available in a few days as v2.6. Their serial numbers are mixed with the GP New Piccolo ones.

Around 700-800 GP New Piccolo have been produced, 500 of them were sold as v3 and the rest will be kept for support, while a certain amount of units will be available as v3.1.

On September, the GP Piccolo will be redesigned in accordance to GP PAPS v2.5 and up. As I have mentioned before, the current switch design is counterproductive and the last 6 months we have changed many CNC shops who were unable to follow the schematics. During that time, we've improved its design and we finally succeeded to apply it on the GP PAPS X as we wanted from the October of 2012. The Piccoloid version of the switch is satisfactory, but not perfect, so the upcoming GP Piccolo batches will be the last for this switch at 16 mm.

So, will we be able buy upgraded 16mm Switches in Sep-13, or will it be 'only' 17mm runs hereon?
What I basically desire to know is: Should I purchase from the current stock of 16mm Piccolo Classic or No? B'coz, u've clearly moved away to wider horizons (with the 17mm ended Piccolo v3).
