Hmmm, I just lubed the o rings first with a tiny bit of juice, stuck the tool into the diver and using a twisting motion the diver slipped into the S/P tank very easily..

This is the way it should work, and has worked for everyone else. I lubed everything - Diver, O-rings, caps, everything, just to see if it would come together. It should work just like the Scuba, which slides right in without any lubing of O-rings.

So the tool should completely pass through the caps, correct? Mine does not at all.

Excellent that my experience is the exception, I love love love the form factor and fill concept of the SnP and really want it to work.

My envelope of 50 9x1mm O-rings just arrived. Now back to beating this SnP into submission! First attempt was not successful. The only way to push the Diver through was to literally hammer it through. Even the plastic tool meant to be used to help ease the Diver through the caps does not make it through the top cap at all, and only peeks out of the bottom cap about 0.5 mm or so before getting thoroghly stuck. I tried the Diver from my Scuba setup, with the same results, so it isn't caused by the Diver that came with the SnP. When the tank was finally assembled, stripped O-rings and all, the pin of the Diver fell out, because all the violence seems to have detached the ceramic from the bottom.

I am starting to think this SnP have a manufacturing defect, mostly because everyone else seems to be having no such issues. I certainly hope so. It does speak to the precision engineering that this has such tight specs and tolerances, and to the manufacturing process that more folks aren't experiencing this. I will try this a few more times, seeing as I have plenty of O-rings.

To have this resolved, I'll make a suggestion.

Send us an email referring your order number and a copy of this post here and I'll send you a new SnP tank.
When you receive it, you'll return me back the old one for inspection and I'll pay the return shipping.
You bought it for vaping not for modding purposes :D

Yes, the Carto-Tool completely 'passes' thru the end-caps of the SnP. Goes thru-n-thru.

Mine was super tight too. I like it that way! And 'pure' VG worked absolutely :)

Sorry Everyone
I love all my recently acquired PAPS and they havn,t left my side for the last 2 months but I have just pressed the button on a ReoGrand black wrinkle + RM2 + some spares from ReoMods.

Never seen a box mod or bottom feeder before but looking forward to trying dripping without having to drip.

GP SnP and the Diver, Wow !

Yes, the setting up was a PITA. Made a mess of the kitchen table, wifey hated it (kids loved it though!). Took 4 efforts, b'coz I never used NR wire and the resistance thus, came out either too low or high beyond my liking. However, I liked the 'work' involved and the results made that 'work out' so very pleasurable.

Couple of days into it now, the SnP+Diver Combo amazes me! This thing vapes immensely well. Exactly like my Kayfun Lite... wonderful taste, gr8 vapor production and a mouthful of 'warmth' - the way I like my vape.

And yes, no NR wire - just 1.2Ω thru direct 30g Kanthal over 3mm Silica, rocking MLV's Virginia Menthol Tobacco - and a houseful of aroma! If I'm considering another set of SnPs in the next run of Perseas' I shouldn't be blamed. This one's that NICE.

Perseas - Just got the missing screw set from DHL - thanks so much for the rush delivery!

And now i can use my atomizer on the 350 tube - just awesome.

I really am in stunned awe over how well you take care of us - your reputation is very well earned. Like i wrote in a previous post, you have me as a customer for life. I'm definitely jumping on the re-release of the sphereoid and most likely the Paps-X. If rumours of the slim Piccolo being re-released are true, i'll be on that bandwagon as well ;)

Seriously, as much an entitled-American-consumer as I probably am, it takes amazing service to impress me. Thank you for setting such a high bar!

I got burned on carto/tanks from the beginning, but you're making me want a SnP/Diver combo. Man. they still available?

Fitting the Diver into the SnP was easy-peesy, for me...
1. Did u take off the double end caps?
2. Did u lube the 'entire' length of the Carto-Tool with VG? (I used pure VG, not the e-juice, b'coz of higher viscosity)

I did remove the double end caps, and even the tiny O-rings in the fill ports to avoid losing them.

I lubed the entire carto-tool, the entire Diver, and both end caps in 100% VG (I vape almost exclusively 100% VG).

Follow-up - when I tried to pry the Diver out and try again, I shattered the second tube. This is how tightly the Diver was wedged in, even after the O-rings were stripped on insertion.

I will hold off until I get to Athens and perhaps bring the parts to perseas to see if I am right or if I am just useless in this case. Provided the SnP comes up at the same time as the next batch of Spheroids, I might pick up a second SnP and try again.

I'm going to rebuild my diver to about 1.3 ohms or maybe close with a little bit of ekowool as I'm trying to get the KF lite experience from this combo. Glad to hear that you accomplished it :)

I bought the exact reo setup sometime between just getting the Lux, and before getting the kayfuns. I really like the functional design. However, I have yet to build a setup on the RM2 that I like. Somehow no matter what type of coil or wick I use, I'm never happy with the results. I have no idea why. I have built many setups on the kayfuns and igo-L using silica, ekowool, and mostly cotton that are fantastic. Also using micro coils or standard coils I've had great results... except on the RM2. The flavor is muted... always.

UKPaul, now that you've got one coming, I'm hoping you can solve my mystery for me!

Congrats to all the new GP owners and what a fantastic thread with Perseas always there to back up his products.

Thank you very much for your kind support, but I found your order!
It's #8193, tomorrow I'll send a new GP SnP 22 mm to have with you, during your journey to Athens :D

Not much more you can wish for as far as customer service goes. That kind of stuff is downright astonishing, in any industry. Kudos, Perseas.

I don't normally write reviews for vape products, but when I do, it's for Vapourart. Jokes aside, the Vapourart team has amazing customer service. My GP PAPS Lux button wasn't working properly, so I contacted perseas and explained the issue. He immediately knew that the problem I was having my switch was not normal and that he'd have a replacement button sent out to me in a few days. Apparently my button had too much gold plating on it, and it conflicted with the switch mechanism being able to fire properly when the locking ring was tightly sealed.

A separate Vapourart representative contacted me about the issue, explained that he was sorry, and also sent me a spare black delrin spacer I asked for. I happened to damage my first black delrin spacer by using some pliers, but found out that it was easier to just pry it up. Followed by a quick reply, "Of course mate!" The order got sent out, arrived in three days, and sure enough - the button worked!

I can't tell you guys how happy I was that perseas and his team didn't try to blame me for the problem I was having. Companies I've dealt with in the past try to make me sound like I'm the stupid one, terrible support, or make me pay for replacements and shipping. I didn't have to pay anything and they sent me a replacement part for something I had damaged myself! Also, I would hate to take advantage of Vapourart, so expect for this to be the only time I contact you about a problem I'm having. I already kind of feel bad that you guys sent me a spare black delrin spacer for free in my shipment. Thank you Vapourart for the awesome support and I hope I'm able to help future customers decide to choose Vapourart!
