Sup everyone, sorry if this question has been asked before, but I just picked up the GP 2.5 SS and I was wondering will the Lux tubes fit if I bought say an 18650 tube to switch out with my 18350 SS tube version? Thanks in advance, oh and BTW I love my GP 2.5 SS the switch on this thing is amazing and it hits like a beast as well...........

Yes buddy, they fit perfectly, happy vaping :)

Perseas,
Please thank Miroslav for sending out the parts I needed. As pretty much everyone here has stated, your products and customer service are top notch. You've set the bar high with the products you offer and the way you conduct business. Everyone in the industry needs to take note.
Thanks again.

I'll tell him and thank you for your nice words :)

In theory it can be done, but the laser etched logo will be erased, while you can obtain a brushed GP Spheroid v2, if you wait the next batch after the coming one.
If I like the finish combo I'll keep the bead blasted finish. But just in case I'll just have him brush the top and leave the base alone so as not to hurt the logo. If the next batch release with brushed Spheroids isn't too far away I guess I could wait... In any case, thanks for the response :)

yes they are all the same just different materials. i rock a 18500 ss tube on my lux for kicking around town and work.

Thanks.....

Thanks, I love my SS Paps

I've never messed with anything rebuildable and thought about starting with the RSST.

That's what I've been using on my Paps since I got it, the RSST with SS rope covered with ekowool at about 1.0 ohms is a beast ;-)

Well... I DID IT!!!!! I ordered the 2.5 SS. As a noob, im trying to figure out what to put on top of this beautiful thing.
the beauty of this device is simplistic elegance - state of the art mechanical vaping... toppers: anything and everything works, and with style.
It's as good as it gets.

yep, that's a classic genesis; ironic as it is a clone. i do confess to rocking the RSST while the AC9 was unavailable. both look great on the GP, and honestly, both perform pretty much equally well. I'd go as far as to state from personal experience, the RSST is easier to work with as well, especially for a new rebuilder.

a couple points:
- the RSST has an insulated wick hole, which prevents shorts on stainless steel wicks. you're supposed to torch the steel before rolling the wick to prevent that, but if you've missed a spot, or the carbon rubs off, the insulation has you covered either way.

- the center post on the RSST is much easier to dial-in the height when you try to flush mount it on the Paps; you can lock in a good pin height on the top cap with the atomizer flush and no battery rattle, and then gently tighten the center post onto it.

in both respects, the AC9 is much harder to work with.

one more point - GP has a couple top-notch atomizer systems in play right now: the Salt & Pepper tank + Diver and the GP Spheroid due to release soon (this week?). i've had the pleasure of running a Kayfun Lite on my Lux for a couple weeks now, and the combination is just heavenly; the knowledgable folks in this thread have suggested that the Diver + SnP and the Spheroid have delivered a better vape experience. On that suggestion, i have the SnP+Diver combination ordered, and plan to order the Spheroid as soon as it's released.

The flavor from a bottom fed, concentrated vape has completely turned me off of genesis style atomizers; i would suggest that the effort to track down a Kayfun Lite or order one of the GP offerings would save you money and time ;)

i rock a kayfun 3.1 on my lux with ss tube and it rocks. i have the brushed kayfun and it matches the ss tube really good. best thing for me about the kayfun is i get a great vape around 1.5 ohms so my batteries last longer than sub ohm builds. never tried diver but hope to get a spheroid when it hits domovaporco

I feel like I can handle building and RSST, but when I look at stuff like they kayfun and driver I get overwhelmed.

I'm going to suggest a Spheroid here, I've picked up a lot of experience in my first couple of months with a number of these advanced devices, and the Spheroid looks like it is easier to use than any of them, even the Kayfuns. I'm picking one up myself.

I, like you, was also used to genesis atomizers. I just recently acquired a Kayfun lite and found setup to be a breeze and agree with @curisu on the performance. No mesh to roll or torch. Give it a shot. You'll be surprised how easy it is.

Totally understood - not trying to get you out of your comfort zone ;). My first RBA was the RSST and it was a great atomizer to start with. The kayfun uses some of the same skills you'd need to build up an RSST; the Diver and Spheroid require one more skill on top of that: getting resistance wire (Kanthal) and non-resistance (silver or nichrome) to work with each other. If/when you try a Spheroid or Diver, a handful of Youtube tutorials, a glass of wine or good beer, and 30 minutes of cursing should sort you out on that.

I found that once I realized that coils aren't rocket science and have tons of room for error, the rest seemed like an easy, natural progression.

Do you have a VV mod like a provari or a multimeter to measure resistance? Having one or the other is a must in my opinion.
