I feel like I can handle building and RSST, but when I look at stuff like they kayfun and driver I get a overwhelmed.
get a nice dripper rda too...
i.e. an iGo L - easy learning curve, nice vape, and definitely nice form factor on the Paps 350.

Totally understood - not trying to get you out of your comfort zone ;). My first RBA was the RSST and it was a great atomizer to start with. The kayfun uses some of the same skills you'd need to build up an RSST; the Diver and Spheroid require one more skill on top of that: getting resistance wire (Kanthal) and non-resistance (silver or nichrome) to work with each other. If/when you try a Spheroid or Diver, a handful of Youtube tutorials, a glass of wine or good beer, and 30 minutes of cursing should sort you out on that.

I found that once I realized that coils aren't rocket science and have tons of room for error, the rest seemed like an easy, natural progression.

Do you have a VV mod like a provari or a multimeter to measure resistance? Having one or the other is a must in my opinion.

I don't think Spheroid uses two types wire... just one no?

Yep, one of the reasons I would go with a Spheroid first. I also believe it is more novice friendly than the Kayfuns, but someone with both should attest to this. I'm speaking from Kayfun experience, plus having watched a number of Spheroid videos. The Spheroid looks more forgiving - and, while tinkering is a lot fo fun, at the end, you want to be able to build her fast, fill her up, and get on with your day.

The flavor is much better on the Spheroid then most atty's out there. I used 2 all day today. The are very versitile and the set up is a snap.

The Vapor is incredible

there you go... yes the Spheroid is a bit easier than the Kayfun... a little less intimidating.

but i suggested an iGo L as an inexpensive intro to building silica/cotton/eko type coils... pretty easy.

if you want to go high end all the way, Paps 2.5 / Spheroid is a no brainer.

What's up bro :) I see you are here cheating on the super T crew too lol

You can get a great vape and get your feet wet building coils for sub $14. Igo L. It makes everything i have seem overpriced.

Im thinking about picking up a porvari mini as well to travel with as I don't have anything to measure resistance with. I dont think I want to bring the paps out of the house.

Why?
I rather prefer carrying them around...

...seem to have no issues tossing them in my pockets!

I have a question for you all. I received my SS 2.5 and a kayfun lite yesterday but I can't get the lite to mount flush. I am using AW IMR batteries. With the adjustable post screwed all the way in I still can't even get the top cap to even screw down all the way maybe a turn short. I have 3 different batteries and they are all the same. Tried taking out one screw on the adjustable post but that takes out to much and the it won't fire. Thanks

Replace it with the "other" screw in the spares bag. They r of different sizes, specifically included in the package by Perseas for the purpose.
