I want to thank xtreme101 for sending me some cotton wick and some Juwel to try out in my Spheroids.

I set up a Spheroid with three strands of cotton. This is my first cotton setup, and I was paranoid of it running dry and burning. The cotton wicks like a champ, but I really can't tell any difference from my normal Ekowool setups. It is probably just my palate. I was using a somewhat heavy juice, VCV Nightshift, which may explain why I can't see a difference. I will try something subtle next time.

As for the Juwel, it works just as well as the Sera perseas sells. However, setup is easier. The Juwel is a bit stiffer, so it does not come apart as easily if you remove and clean it. Also, the Juwel sheets are thicker than the Sera sheets, so a single small strip is enough, whereas I have found I prefer two plys of Sera. Finally, the Sera always has errant strands sticking out the top that I have to push into the Spheroid as I screw the top cap on. The Juwel does not, so I can just screw the cap on without needing to push bits of wool into the tube before tightening.

These are all minor, minor details, and the sum total isn't really significant enough to recommend Juwel over Sera, especially since once they are in the Spheroid, they work equally well. But Juwel is a tad easier to work with.

I won't go out of my way to find Juwel over Sera 700 years from now when I run out of Sera and Juwel.

Bout time you posted the pics brother. You know I'm looking for the balcony shot.... :).
Hope you and yours loved Italy my friend.

Didn't bring any jeans, sorry Idaho :) Back from italy and will never be able to eat pasta in america again. Carbonara topped with shaved black truffle, OMG. Smoked a couple Cohiba Behike 52's and a Partagas SP2 while I was there too. (Couldn't resist). If any of you find yourself in Rome and are looking for a very nice cigar shop/museum, stop by Fincato at Via della Colonna Antonina, 34. I could see e-cigs having a similar establishment a couple hundred years from now. A few pictures of Perseas too. :)

That is great. Really glad you had a great time. The food and lifestyle are night and day. My family is south of Rome. Southern Italy is the "cut off" region and considers themselves as the red headed step kids.
Now it is time for you to move on with many successful years of marriage. The first of your memories together have been rooted. It is all down hill from here!

***Today is KLF day***

Someone please point me in the direction of a post or video to get this thing setup ASAP. I'll be working with 30g Kanthal and 2 or 3mm silica.

After some great help from the fellows in the Kayfun Lite thread the first setup is complete. 1.6ohm on 3mm silica. Didn't know GVC tasted this good. It MIGHT even be better than in the Diver. Might.

I just have to remember to keep my hand off the air hole. Sure wish it was in another place.

One question. Can I use the flat top cap since in the air hole is on the RBA?

One pic, enjoy.

Authentic carbonara is actually very easy to make at home. Alas, you will realize as you make it that it is about 100 calories per bite.

ID, your generosity I would never refuse. I did purchase used, and it did come with two ceramics and some wick. I probably should have researched first, but I couldn't pass up the deal shipped to my door. I can order some wire, but do I need a zapper, or can that be manually braided? Perhaps braided wasn't the right word.

Idk if it's going to work with diver, but I'm running my euforia (i'm sorry guys, just not able to get hold of penny) with a wire twisted on one end connected to the + post. Works fine so far and no need in fancy nr wire etc. :)

I am not sure what shipping would be but, I have 2 Penelopes and would be happy to sell one if needed. :)

Absolutely can use the flat top. I am addicted to the flat tops :).

You will get past the airhole blockage! It is a bit more friendly in the 18500 and larger. I think we all had a learning curve on that one.

Thanks. Riddle me this.

Why would it take a few secs for the coil to heat up? I mean after say 3 secs it's great but it's most definitely not instantaneous like my Diver setup.

For what's it's worth, I'm working with 30g kanthal.

Yup, flat top is the way to go with the KFL or any other atty that doesn't get it's airflow from the 510 connector.
