On 4th October, we shall start an ultra fast production of the GP PAPS X top caps modified slightly to have a greater efficiency regarding the air flow.
About 210 GP PAPS X units have been sold with the old caps which work flawlessly, but they aren't 100% satisfying for all, because for some people the draw is tight. We shall send free of charge new top caps to all the people who have already bought the GP PAPS X to ensure that their experience will be superb. When they receive them, they shall return us the old ones back via simple mail for updating. The return address will be enclosed in the parcel of the new top cap.
In order to avoid further delays, we won't respond to emails asking to buy something additional with it, or suggesting a different approach, the whole procedure will be done as it has been described.
As a result, the upcoming vapourday on 7th October is rescheduled for the 14th October, Monday at 24:00 midnight local time Athens.
A longer AFC will be also ready then, for those who don't want to use the air flow control.

It helps deter theft and further identifies authentic from clones. Oh, dont get us wrong, we like serial numbers, just could care less of the value.
It gets tiring looking at the classifieds when there is a nice mod for sale and the seller points out a low serial # in his description . As if it that number was special.

Is there going to be an option to buy the new top caps and AFR now or in the future ?
GP and perseas set the high-bar in my experience for unbelievable customer service and treating his clients like family. Wow. Just wow.
I'd likely be a lifetime fan based on the quality of the product alone, but the absolutely unique white-glove treatment guarantees that I can go ahead and order anything from GP and be confident that i will be receiving nothing but superlative products!

So this raises a question that I thought I knew the answer to... What time is this exactly? The website says Monday 12AM Midnight, which I understood to be Monday 00:00:00, in other words, Sunday night, Monday morning. This posts says 24:00, which I would understand as Monday night, Tuesday morning. Can someone with a better understanding of time help me out here, lol. /Insert banging head against wall emoticon here/
A solid guess would be that VapourArt will replace the 221 current as King Perseas suggests, build future mods and deliver with the new designed Caps and AFR. The new design will not affect the current owners that enjoy how it performs as is but, it will make the current and future owners that it may affect happy. As they will be able to adjust as needed for their satisfaction.
As, an option in the future would be too expensive for any builder to continue and create a bit of consumer confusion. Project X must be a profitable project for them and we all are hoping it is for them.
This is just another move that our beloved builder that shows how versatile and concerned they are about our happiness.
The time posted is Helena time(Greece) and is "military time". If you are in big hat country than they are +8 hours added to your current time.

Edit: Basically what I am asking is, Im I going to be able to keep my top cap and get the new one also, or will I have to wait for Perseas to release a spare parts batch and buy one.

King P can step in and correct me if I'm wrong... He is sending out a new top cap to all current owners. Included in that package will be the postage to send back the old top cap. I am sure at some point in the future there will be replacement parts available for purchase in the same fashion that all of his other products have replacement parts.
