I am at the same time zone with Athens but I dont understand what Monday 24:00 PM means, is it Tuesday or Mnday morning 00:00, please someone clarify that

Hey fasteddie...I'll try the pictures, but don't know if we could see much (if only Q was here, with his talent we might have something and we might work out that floating positive pin of his)
What I found works for me is: I wrap a normal micro coil on a toothpick (it's non-conductive) not too tight or the res wire will dig in and be hard to slide off. I slide it off the toothpick and into the tweezers, just tight enough to create a solid coil. Torch it for ten seconds and let it cool a short bit. Once I'm happy that I have a solid coil, I put it back on the toothpick, trim the coil legs to about 3mm, attach the positive clip of my zapper to the first wrap of micro and the negative clip to the no res wire and join them, repeat on last wrap of coil, slide off toothpick, Install the cotton, trim the cotton outside the coil to what looks to me to be 3mm. The rest is just like any killer build. Just make sure the coil is just below the top of the ceramic cup.(makes it easy to change cotton) When changing the cotton, cut it flush with the ceramic and gently pull from other side and reload....

I just read my post..LOL...I make it sound like a PITA, I think it's my inability to explain things in writing, but It really is a pretty fast build and well worth it...

GB, I'm just running a plain-n-simple Silica setup in my Killer. However, my "Microcoils with Cotton" are located in my Kayfuns. I'd believe they'd be similar in the Killer as well - just that it's space limitations might call for thinner Kanthals and finer builds - a tad difficult task for peeps like me with sausage fingers!

Here's my Micro-Cotton builds on Kayfuns:
1: Microcoil with Cotton Yarn: See >Post# 2924<.
2: Double Microcoil with Cotton Ball: See >Post# 2055<.

just tried messing with this stuff for the first time. Which do you prefer? The twine or cotton balls? I cant figure out how much cotton ball to use properly.

Hi, either work perfectly fine for me. Fortunately they did good the first time - and everytime thereafter. I never had any issues with Micro-Cotton builds ever. I prefer the 'cotton-ball' though - just b'coz it's easier to wriggle in (inside the coil) and replace.

Alas, the dreaded cotton thickness plague. Vapedivrr on the KF thread knocks it out when he explains how to get close to the right thickness.

I follow his lead for the kayfun:

-Unroll cotton ball flat
-Trim to make a nice rectangle
-Cut it length ways by 4
-Cut those short ways by 4

You'll end up with 16 short wicks measuring about an 1" maybe less.

I then take 1 of those pieces and basically pull it in half. I make sure the half I have is consistent in thickness all the way through. I do not roll the entire piece, but just the end to make it small enough to slide through the microcoil wrapped @ 1/16". I will gently form the rest if the wick, but not too much, as you want it to remain fluffy.

Insert the wick and pull it through. You should receive mild resistance when doing so, but not to the point that the cotton is bunching up.

What atty are you using the cotton on?

Edit: Determining what device is being used would've been a better plan prior to typing out all that nonsense

If I can build a wick/coil for the Killer, then I have no doubt that you will have no trouble doing so! I haven't tried cotten yet tho, but plan on it eventually.

This is exactly why I use and love the Sugar N Cream, actually I think mine is called Peaches N Cream, from Wal-Mart. It's predictable and can be easily replicated every time. On my Kayfuns I roll a coil around a 5/64th drill bit, cut a length of yarn, double it over and thread through the coil with a needle. No guess work to it, and it just works, everytime! Still waiting on the Sophia, but I am hoping I will be able to use this setup in it as well.

No sir, I'm not Might just be plain lucky! U know, I've tried all rolls -- thick cotton (difficult to pass thru), thin ones (smoothly passed thru), just right ones (went in with a bit of resistance) -- every one of them wicked perfectly.

I'm thus surprised myself at my endeavours after hearing u folks out! Which is why I oft repeat, "The Kayfuns are fool-proof", they can take any siht we put in and anyway make a splendid vape out of it! I stand amazed at this beautiful wizardry from SM√
