SW is the only Z I have left, sold everything else awhile ago.. I like it with the kayfun mini so it was a keeper.. I found my shiznit now though..

Eh, sold all mine as well. The last cobalt was the hardest as it was previously owned by Tyleris. Such a good woman and friend.

So here is what I have been working on the last 2 hours. Origen dripper on top, dual coil. Which I am finding hard to master... Question for the battery experts. If this comes in at 1.6 ohms, does it matter to the battery that it's 2 coils or just what the ohms are?

The resistance is all that matters.

But hey, 3.2Ω in each coil? Why? When you do 'duals' you'd like to keep it either sub or 1.1-1.2Ω max, won't you?

It wasn't on purpose, was the first attempt at it, and yes, it's weak at those ohms. The legs ended up being longer than I wanted, was trying to setup micro coils. The reason I asked is because I drained a battery a lot quicker than normal...

Returning my Paps 18800 tube to Domo. Pretty disapointed with it and i hope this isnt whats in store for future products.

Domo WILL do everything and anything to keep you happy. Trust me on that. It happens. I had a pretty big issue with my first order from him for the Paps 2.5 SS. After what he did to make sure I was happy, I don't want to go anywhere else.

Polishing my Lux : What did I do / use?

1. Removed the end caps,
2. Cleaned the Alu-Bronze tube under running lukewarm water,
3. Rinsed it with regular dishwashing liquid and gently hand scrubbed,
4. Washed up and dried it with a paper towel,
5. Applied Wright's Silver Cream and hand rubbed along the length of the tube (see note),
6. As it dried out, let it sit for a while (just about 5-6 minutes),
7. Then buffed all the cream off using a Polishing Cloth,
8. Washed the tube under running water and dried it with a paper towel,
9. Now, used the same polishing cloth to buff it for shine (just about 5-6 minutes),
10. Then reassembled everything up and vaped to glory! Oh yes, clicked those pics as well;)

NOTE:
a) This was my first use of polish over the Lux.
b) For application of the cream no cloth, sponge etc. are required.
c) Remember to apply the polish in straight strokes along one direction. Preferably in length.
d) Avoid circular motions, b'coz that tends to drop-in micro scratches, which'd be visible later.
e) Avoid anything but a polishing cloth, or an old soft T-shirt. B'coz others will leave scratches.
f) Once polishing has be resorted to - maintain the sheen with regular dry buffing (just by polishing cloth).
g) Perform the after wash - b'coz that'd remove any contaminants, especially on the threads.
h) Use the polishing cloth inside the tube as well. Keeping the innards clean helps!
k) Don't use polish, alcohol, spirits, or any severe scrubbing on the Contacts (they've Gold over Silver, remember?).
l) I treat my Lux as a piece of jewellery. Take li'l care of it and it'd never fail... it cannot√

Thank you Perseas and Team-GP for this wonderful device!

GP Paps X #0448 checking in...only 3 days to arrive in California from halfway around the world, amazing! This is such an elegant mod...simple yet sophisticated...clean lines, definitely less is more!! I am very impressed with the build quality, threads are nearly pneumatic feeling as previously stated. The precision of the switch is brilliant, short throw with the perfect amount of feedback; firm enough to let you know you've activated it, yet soft enough to provide a feeling of effortlessness. I also purchased the non AFC rings and the polished one is installed for the pictures. These sweet little rings are really quite the icing on the cake as they say, it allows for a flush look almost effortlessly. I also have a chi you and a poldiac; both are much more difficult to work with when trying to eliminate the gap between the atomizer and the mod, especially if your trying to align the atomizer logo with the mod logo; or air whole alignment when using a genesis style atomizer. So far, the GP X has proved much easier for this task (which is important to a perfectionist type, like me, lol). I am trying to upload pictures but I think because I am new to the forum I do not have permission yet. Thank you to all who participate in this forum, many of which have provided invaluable information that has significantly improved my vaping experience and ultimately allowed me to be analog free for over six months after 30 years of a pack and a half a day!! I would also like to thank all the folks that make up "Team GP" who have made such beautiful devices available to the world, and more specifically "me". I am grateful for your hard work, dedication to excellence and unparallelled service! Now if I could only find a GP spheroid...my GP set would be complete... (I was too slow when ordering the X and when I tried to pay it said they were out of stock - to my disappointment) If anyone wants to sell one or knows when the next batch will be available I would appreciate the information...thank you. Now it's time to add myself to the proud owner list :)

Thank you for your kind words and your feedback, welcome on board :)

The GP Spheroid v2 will come out again first days of November.

Thanks RaQ, Somehow I knew you would be the first to answer. Possibly a zapper in my future.

A friend recommended to me a Wire Welder v2, I just ordered it for my Ithaka and Diver.
They are made by hand with an ETA of 3 weeks for construction. I heard good words for them and I am not affiliated in any way with their maker. His site

I don't know if the maker has a presence on ECF. You can see the project in VW here.
Here is the manual for v1 for those who haven't access to VW.
All credit for pictures and for the user guide to ariel_mx.

I've been rocking that combo as well, and loving it and honestly, don't even mess with single coil on this one because of the deep wells.
My advice is to also have each wick going into each well (not one wick per well) this way both coils are always juicing :)

Perseas!
I have the V1 and it is awesome. The V1 takes a bit more practice to learn the best settings to weld, I count seconds. He was selling the V1 schematics for us to build or he could build one for us.

I heard his V2 is AWESOME. And, it very nice because we can just set the volts on the screen and Bam!
He does not have a presence here on ECF, I just emailed him. I did not realize he even had a website, Thanks buddy.

Best thing is that he is also a Greek!
