Ya'll should move to Iowa.....we get snow..lots and lots of snow. Really enjoying the spheroid and can see where it will be awesome for travel on the Piccolo and/or MicroStick. I can't believe how happy I am with my PAPS, KFLS and now the Spheroid. They are just so reliable, easy to build and great flavor/vapor, no leaking and just look awesome. The other plus is after purchasing a bag of organic cotton balls, skein of Lily S&C and wire I'm pretty sure I'm about set for life:laugh:
We should move to Iowa. Iowa seems to get most of Idaho's mail. We are slowly gaining ground as people are finally realizing we are a state. We even have running water and 1 traffic light in my town.
That's great Iowa, glad you are loving it!

Was it Juwel? It comes in different colors. I bought mine on eBay (white color).

I assume with this stuff you don't need to get the density correct ?

Wrapping a coil and making some bunny ears with the wicks is easy , but I feel that I still havnt got the density of the filler material right yet. I think I'm close on this build but I'm never quite sure if I could be doing it better. I've read the tips and tricks etc on sizes to cut it at, but I think it's just more of an experience thing.

Anybody got a source for the blue foam stuff in the USA? Saw some people using it on a UK forum but not much info.

I believe the blue foam is (or used to be) that used in aquarium filters. There's an old thread here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-smoking-discussion/156175-right-blue-foam-marineland-rite-size-u.html.

I only know of this because the foam is sold by an Aussie vendor here: Blue Foam (Piece) - Ecig-SA.com, so I googled the name he calls it. It's available through e-bay too, I think.

Disclaimer: I know nothing! It's just that blue foam was mentioned on the Aussievapers forum recently, and I'm presuming you're talking about the same thing.

At some point I'll be getting Vape n shine on Facebook to go over my Ba Gua and Spheroid and make them fancy. I was thinking a combo of mostly media blasted with touches of brushed and mirror finish maybe on a few small bits. He's got a crazy wait list right now though and isn't accepting any more mods.

No traffic light here, but we do have a four way stop....

Justin is a good dude but, you are capable. Very capable. Start with the GP tool, a Dremel, wet/dry sand paper, fine steel wool and a buffing wheel. It makes a great hobby. I have some cheap tubing I bought when I started and practiced a bit. Finishing is not a secret.
Spend your money on GP not on someone else finishing them for you bro.

I had pondered getting the GP tool at some point and doing a few other attys and mods. I actually polished my terminator c up from dull gray colour it usually is myself. I had a cig-a-like battery from my starter kit that I used to spin it on a drill lol. It turned out not too bad actually but you can see that the brushing / polishing wasn't exactly straight if you look at it close (the battery's 510 was just a tad crooked). But it did give me a sense of the process. If I decide to get in to it myself I'll send you a PM for supply tips.

As for sending it to Justin , I really love the media blasted finish he puts on stuff, i suppose I could look in to that too.

Hope someone can help :)
few days ago I got an S&P Tank from UK (vapist.net)
I bought together with a GP drip tip, it came with 2 O-rings attached
Those rings look to big to me, its near impossible to plug the drip-tip into an carto (one O-ring is now already damaged)

maybe someone can tell me the correct size of this o-rings?

EDIT: I have tried 6x1mm, but they are to small

The correct size is 7 x 1 mm, but if you can't find it, or you have any other issue, send us an email to info@vapourart.com to solve it.

I'm new to the GP. Just got one this week! I have a question...

I tried a search for this and was unsuccessful. Can the 18500 tube 2.5 work with a 18490? I know the post adjusts. I just didn't know if it would adjust that far.

Thanks in advance!

Your Paps came with two sets of Telescopic Posts. One of them will adjust to that battery size, any battery size.

Thanks for the quick reply! Now I can buy some tubes! Lux looks real nice...

Paps-LUX is my most favourite mod :p I'm a GP fanboy, oh yeah! Many of us here actually are! Anything GP is -my type- our type of vape... Every Paps has it's specific place in our vape life. However, if it had to be one ~ I'd pick the LUX.
It's another matter that I'd sell my car to typically possess all things GP, if it has to be that way :)

Same here, except I don't have a LUX yet. I am gonna buy it brand new one day. The switch (which I just realized had a locking ring :facepalm:) is very touchy-feely and the overall lightweight of the SS or LUX compared to the Paps X, seals the deal for me. I have hardly used my Paps X now because I am so used to the 2.5 switch and weight, when I switch to my Paps X it feels almost too heavy.

I know you don't have a kick anymore but if you did, then you could use a 18490 with a kick in the 18650 tube so in a way, you could spare yourself the cost of 3 tubes for 3 battery configurations inlieu of 2 tubes (350 'n 650) s'long as ya Kick the 18490.

Qorax already answered your question so I dunno why I'm even making this post except to say, welcome brother! I saw you pop in earlier but forgot to say howdy. Your posts should accomidate your bats but in the event it doesn't because of the Kick2 or something, reaching out to perseas for a longer post or something shouldn't be a problem.

I'll catch-up on the thread over the weekend, folks

Back to The Twilight Zone marathon I go!
