I've been having fun with my new RampageVapor Hybrid Adapter and custom kayfun tank:

Ya know, I kinda want to scoop one of those up. Nice!

Hey Chris, I am just really coo coo about juices. I had a lot of problems finding juice that I did like and then there were some that I just couldn't justify the price to purchase. So...I started DIY...honestly? I really do love the fact that I DIY...I know exactly what goes in it. I get nervous about who is making the juice and where they are making it and how they are handling it. I know ... I know... call me crazy! And then there is health. We quit smoking to make sure that we get healthIER by vaping. Most of the creamy and custards have diacetyl and I just can't justify vaping it. I'm not saying that I haven't vaped it but I don't want to vape it. And then there is...I really am less is more kind of girl. (contrary to what some of my mods of choice have been-not anymore!) I don't want additional chemicals in my juice. Took a lot of time and money purchasing flavors that were disgusting to find the good ones but well worth it. I also try to get all natural flavors when I can. That Chocobobomint took 2 years to create because of tweeking and unfortunately it isn't all natural :( but at least I know exactly what is in it. And the good news, if the FDA cracks down and bands sales and makes obtaining juice and what not difficult, I have a full stock to be able to hold us a good long while. :) Ok...that was a long rant...maybe blame the insomnia at 1:43AM

Wow that's terrible. I'm giving it the 14 day wait til I email him. So a couple days and I'll start getting worried. He usually is very good about responding. Hmmm.

Mine shipped November 11th, and arrived in here in NYC on the 22nd. I'd say give it until about Wednesday or Thursday.

Thanks. I emailed him earlier today. Hasn't responded yet. I know it says give 10-14 days but it's getting very close to 14 as mine shipped on the 12th.

He probably has more unread emails in his Inbox than the Pope. In fact, I suspect he may in fact be the Pope.

thx for the words of wisdom.....all my kayfuns are microcoiled using 28awg, about 8-11 wraps (.9-1.3ohm....seems to be my sweet spot)....i just can't thread the 3mm eko through a microcoil.....especially inconvenient because the ekowool is flat, not a circular diameter...
so while i go through my stash of eko, im using ribbon and traditional coiling methods.....just keeping an open mind....

My poor Ekowool sits nearly abandoned. I only use it in my drippers, because I need to dry burn the juice off before I change it.

3mm Ekowool is much too thick for a microcoil. You would probably do best with a 2mm strand and a 1mm strand, or possibly 3 1mm strands.

Ugh, Boba's. Give me Gorilla Juice, or give me death.

I just can't vape banana anything. I love bananas but I can not stand fake banana. In fact, I will gladly take a bullet before I ever eat banana pudding.

I am doing my best to abandon ekowool for cotton. It works so well for me.

Good morning, sorry this turned epic somehow:pop:-must have been a busy night!

20 minutes. You have to go 20 or you will still taste the cotton more than you like. You can go longer just don't bother shorter. There's a break in period either way, but it's far less with a 20 minute boil.
I've also switch most every setup I have to organic cotton balls. I don't boil those. And replacing is easy as pie. Remove the old cotton, dry burn, rinse off the coil, rethread a new cotton. Bam. Virtually no breakin period and you're done in under 5 minutes for most devices.
+1 to that brother, I havent tried the SnC mainly because I am too lazy to find UK equivalent. But why would I, the cotton balls work great straight from the packet and have a super clean taste. 2 or 3 draws and any slight taste is gone. I am still on my first ball, and I must have done 20 builds + with it!:2cool:

Try cotton in the Kayfun, I use micro's in both my kayfuns one kicked at 1.7ohm and other at 1.1ohm. Both using cotton, and both work flawlessly. Keep the fill down the side nice and loose. It really has enhanced the kayfun for me changing from the standard .2 kanthal 2mm silica build to micro and cotton. I have tried all sorts in between and this I find the best set-up, also much easier!

Cotton balls are used in every atty I have, I've been in love with the vape since switching to them about 2 months ago.

I need the yarn for my Spheroid though as cotton balls just can't work in it and I've grown to hate silica.

You can get cotton balls working great in the spheroid, if a bit fiddly, check out my picture a couple of pages ago!
When you seperate a bit of cotton off from the ball, make sure you dont break the strands up too much you need that structure to keep it sitting nicely. I tend to pull a good 25mm through as the first bit tends to be too broken up, a little twist to the ends and point them upwards then trim off the excess.
I thought these would collapse straight away but actually they kinda stick to the side of the bell and stay really well, after a couple of days of use and tanks fill you will need to change the cotton as it eventually goes limp. But thats a 1 min job in the spheroid. Just make sure they are not curling inwards over the top of the coil, and keep em short, they dont need much at all to contact the filler! Less is More!!!!;)

Especially since I can rebuild everything I have with one cotton ball and still have leftover. Crazy isn't it? But the flavor just seems cleaner and certain ingredients pop more.
+1 there, cleanest taste of anything I have tried.:vapor:

I had similar problem finding good juice in the beginning, which is why I turned to DIY. I still have lots of fun with it, but now I can buy better.
Strangely now, I make more juice for friends who will not pay the price for real good juice than I do for myself!!
I think it's very handy to be able to make your own, we have all had those occasions when the good stuff has run out and being able to DIY a reasonable juice is a real blessing.
I did buy 5 litres of VG a while back, and 500ml of nic so think I should be ok if the lights go off!:vapor:

Ugh, Boba's. Give me Gorilla Juice, or give me death.
Really? Everyone who tries my Bobas has loved it! Love the Gorilla Juice as well though, that seems a bit more hit and miss on my friends.
GVC is a real 50/50 one, i think it's like the vaping equivalent of Marmite! I love it!

I just can't vape banana anything. I love bananas but I can not stand fake banana. In fact, I will gladly take a bullet before I ever eat banana pudding.

Idaho, have you tried the Gorilla Juice?
I am not a big Banana flavouring fan, but this to me is a subtle flavour of nice ripe bananas not that fake taste which I dislike too.

Sorry that was ridiculous, but i've written it now!

Kudos to fasteddie.

1. For hitting some excellent points. I love Bobas. Just had to try to give it up at its price point and availability. GJ is great too. And if I ever get a spheroid, I will be trying cotton for sure.

2. For just plain having the longest multi quote post I've seen in a while AND keeping up with it.

Hi, a couple of follow-up questions to my new Paps products for a Paps noob:

1) I did my first build on my Spheroid last night. Since it was my first time I wanted to keep it simple with fluff, silica and kanthal. I cut 3mm x 2.5 mm fluff, wrapped, and did a 4 wrap 28 kanthal build with 1 fold 2mm silica, coming in at 1 ohm. Firstly I am getting dry hits and poor flavour. I'm vaping Mother's Milk. Any suggestions on a fix? When I open the tube, I see that my wicks do have juice on them but only a thin layer.

Unfortunately I don't have an allen key with the right size to tighten the top cap. I am only able to tighten to the 0 ring. Not much tighter. I also found the bottom threading tough to tighten down and have to use a lot of force to fully close. With this, it seems I have paid and have cuts all over my hands.

2) I attempted to use my GP Paps classical drip tip with the spheroid. The o-rings were a little big for the Spheroid and having pushed to hard, the bottom o-ring snapped. Where can I get a replacement o-ring for the drip tip? This is disappointing as I would think the Paps drip tip should fit well in the Paps Spheroid product.

I love the Paps SS 2.5, but discouraged by the Spheroid experience so far. I'd appreciate your suggestions on rectifying the juice flow issues and perhaps a suggestion how I can get my new Paps drip tip a replacement o ring.

P.S. I've been reading about everybody's GVC shipping results. My 120 ml has been in processing with customs for 4 days. Being that I'm in Canada, and customs can stop juice in this country, I'm getting a little concerned. So far customs has never stopped my juice from abroad but this one is not looking good.

Thanks Trxedxj. I noticed in all the vids I watched that people first screw down the coil to the side and then lift the coil over the top to place the it over the air hole. Is this necessary? I think this step has been screwing up my contact with the posts. Perhaps I should next try building the could diagonally so I can place the coil over the air hole from the start.

I also don't have a key that fits the top to tighten mine down but I can get it nice and flush with just my hands , takes little effort actually. Someone though to get it off I need to use a tool. In this case I use this handy little rubber circle that is meant to grip jar lids that are being difficult. Much like nail clippers and dental picks it's another every day house hold thing that works great in the vaping tools arsenal.

As for tightening the bottom , do you mean the bottom bottom with the 510 threads on it ? If you don't have a GP tool I believe you're supposed to use needle nose pliers and put the tips in the two holes to tighten.

Chadsmo, no I'm referring to the bottom threading from the tube to the build area.
