Every time I hold it I admire the beauty in its strength. The power of raw steel with a superior craftsmanship that has gone into it's making. This the only mod which makes 18650 so right! Which is why this is my 'official mod'... I have no qualms in lugging it along to work - as I know it'd be there - chugging megatons even at the most adverse of situations!

Don't know who it was having trouble opening the base of the spheroid but I went thru the exact same thing a couple months ago with mine, tried everything I could at home with no success. If you have a Home Depot or any hardware store close by, take the base in with you and find the channel locks in the pic above, they are perfect for opening the base. The package pops right open so you can use them to open the base and put them right back in the package. The tip of the channel locks have 2 posts that fit perfect in the fork holes on the base of the spheroid and grip it very well so you don't have to worry about slipping and scratching the base anymore. Hope this helps

Forgot to mention that you will need to either take your own pliers or "borrow" some from the store to grasp the posts while using the channel locks in place of the gp fork to open base and don't worry about damaging the posts because: 1) GP products are built rock solid, and 2) Perseas stands behind his products 110% if something were to go wrong! I'm sure Perseas told you already but the bases are assembled by hand prior to shipping so it WILL come apart. Good luck!

In preparation for getting my SnP this week I just have a quick question. I know they come with a few sets of o rings of different hardness.

Can anyone using a Sofia in there's let me know what their preferred o ring setup is?

Chadsmo ~ just replace both inner o-rings in the top cap & w/1 red inner o-ring in the top slot of the top cap. Works like a charm!

I see right now only the 23mm is available. Does vapourart also sell just the caps for the 22mm or would i have to buy another tank when in stock?

Perseas has said a few times that they don't sell them separately because they can't 100% know that all covers work with all caps. I believe he said it's about 95%. As a result they just sell complete tanks only.

We don't sell the covers separately, although we desired to do it, because we cannot find a way to know where the threads start each time, ensuring a proper seal and stopping any internal pressure's loss. We match the covers with the top caps with top covers, one by one, during the production. In random tests with different covers on the same top caps, we found the compatibility to be about 94-98%, so we cannot offer them separately and be 100% sure they will fit perfectly.

If you just need the 22mm ~ Domo Vapor has GP Salt & Pepper Tank (SnP) 22mm in stock.

for use with the Sophia: you meant the small inner O-ring of the top-cap, right? not the outer ones which are touching the glass?

Yes, that is correct. Take both small brown inner o-rings & replace w/1 small red o-ring in the inner top slot. This will allow you to use the juice control w/ease.
