Annoying yeah. Part of me wants to get one if they come out just to see the difference in quality, but a way bigger part of me doesn't want anything to do with them.

Someone is coming out with a Spheroid clone? Crap. Well, we all knew this day would come.
Regardless of performance, I wouldn't trust clones, because one of the ways they make them cheap is by using low-grade materials. It seems a pity to leave behind the poisons of analogs only to replace them with poisons from degrading or rusting cheap metals.
I have really been surprised GP hasn't been cloned but if it was I doubt it would have the same quality defeating the point of own a GP product.
Hi all,
I have a question I'm hoping one of you fellow GP lovers might be able to answer. I've long been a spheroid user and more recently picked up a GP paps (v2.5, standard). I love everything about this mod except the one thing I am supposed to love: The switch. It is indeed a feather touch and works beautifully and that is my problem. In real life usage, I just don't trust the thing not to fire. If there is so much as a grain of salt on the table and I set it down, odds are it will fire -- let alone if I pocket the thing while forgetting to lock it first. So, for now, every time I use it, I have to unlock/lock the switch.
So, my question: Is there a stiffer spring available for the gp paps switch? I've tried some other springs I have laying about and none of them will seem to work because the tolerances inside the switch are so precise / small.
I'll go right on loving the paps even with this issue. But if someone has a solution, this could become my every day mod. Right now it's relegated to special occasions
Thanks so much,
Steve.

I've Not Heard about it anywhere, yet!
Sadly, it's true. The spheroid is a great, affordable and fairly easy attie to get with top notch customer support. The GP team has even provided us with 3 different finishes to choose from. I don't understand why anyone would want a cloned version but here it is...

A bigger part is not supporting the theft of design and supporting many many months of hard work that was done and still done for us. Support VapourArt and their families I say and always will.Annoying yeah.
