... I want to remove both inner black o-rings on the top cap and replace only the top one with one of the silicone o-rings, right?
I use both red ones in the top cap - that's a nice snug fit and Sophia won't turn itself open or close.

You'll have to test yours out...with two, I couldn't turn Sophia..... :(
have no problems with that - but it's tight fit.

So, sine we have some hardcore GVC fans in here, maybe one of you can help me.

I recently traded a small amount of liquid for a small amount of GVC from one of our GP family here so I could try it for the first time.

I'm a huge fan of dessert/sweet vapes, so I figured this would be great for me, right? Well, the flavor is decent (a little faint), but there's this funky/musty flavor that I keep getting that I'm not a fan of at all. This GVC is from his latest batch. Does it need some steeping, or am I one of the few that may just not like this liquid? I've never had a vanilla custard juice before, so I can't judge if the funky/musty flavor I'm getting is from this liquid in particular, or if its a VC thing in general or what...

Any advice?

Hmmmm that's weird. I do notice when it steeps for a long while, like a couple months, it gets this like cottony taste. But I've gone through quite a bit of this batch and didn't notice anything. What's the setup you're using? I know Grant recommends silica wick and definitely not mesh.

I'm using cotton wick, dual-coil, microcoils, 0.6ohm.

I'm chalking it up to me being sick though if that setup sounds alright to you since I got it from you and yours is fine. I'll shelf it and try it again when I'm better. I was running 102-103 fever for 2 days and just started feeling better today when I tried it, so that may be the problem.

GVC is ready to vape upon arrival as he requires a 2 week minimum steep before he sells or sends to vendors. There are a few of us that will tell you that it just gets better with time. Seems to change color swiftly to a deep gold as well as the flavor seems to be far richer as time passes. I like it far better as time passes but, also right out of the overpaid, underworked, cold hearted mail carriers paw.

Speaking of dual coils , anyone ever run them in a spheroid ? I was thinking I might try it. I know it'll get a little hot but is there any reason not to try it ?

Besides heat, could the fluff keep up with that sort of wicking demand? That's what sparks my curiosity.

I don't do that low on the ohms. But around 1-1.4 normally. And I do use cotton. It tasted fine to me. I definitely think your being sick may be a factor. Maybe it just doesn't agree with you either taste is subjective.
My mail from you moved from IL to MO on the 27th and hasn't moved since.

I have thought of this much. But I fear it would heat the small chamber too much and change flavors that I love. I also didnt want to X the coils over and under over the air hole or parallel duals. I just dont see benefit. It would not adjust flavor and I am not a cloud chaser. The air hole/wick coil is key with the Spheroid, more so than with bigger decks on other attys.
This is one thing that helps make the Spheroid the total package - vape, wicking, flavor, etc.. No reason not too but, I bet of the 731 of enjoyable wicks I have made for the Spheroid dual coil is just a wasted effort.

Mmm. Lux. :)

As for dual coils. I find for ME they are only good with a small number of juices. As Idaho, the potato farmer, will attest to, some of the juices jojo DIYs are delicate. I've put them through duals. Flavor changes badly. Obviously taste is subjective. I reserve my duals for tobac flavors.

I have the same kind of thoughts. Sometimes I just like to do stuff on the basis of trying it. Sometimes it's a terrible idea , and other times it turns out fantastic. I think you're right about the airflow vs the amount of coils etc though.

If its in a place called Hazelwood, that's "normal" for me. That's the sorting facility before it reaches my town, and they're horrendous at their jobs. Me and the wife always have problems with them. We always get our packages, but there seems to be some sort of delay more often than not. I apologize on their behalf. I'll be sure to make another complaint to the superiors over there. Hopefully if they get enough complaints they'll eventually look into the problem.. I understand they're busy there, but it shouldn't take 3-4 days everytime you have a package in their facility to get sorted and shipped.

Yep haha. Hazelwood got me!!!! I was like it never takes this long for mail. Wth? That stinks. I say shelf your GVC til ya feel better and try it again. There are "those" that don't enjoy GVC (ahem. Digi!) so it's possible it's not for you and if that's the case I'm sorry.

Tryyyyy iiiit :)
Once I made a dual coil setup, parralel coils. The vapor was meeh, the flavour was ok, but the TH was brutal! There was not much airflow to go over both coils, which resulted in a brutal TH.
LOL, I think those who vape 24mg could easily vape 6mg and be happy with the throat hit :)
