Alright, let's open this back up as I know we mentioned it before..

My trip to Vegas is in 10 days. I know I had inquired about transporting my mods before, but I forget what the best methods mentioned were. Basically, I want to take a couple mods, handful of batts, and a couple juices. Obviously, I am flying, so I am worried about the boarding process when I am carrying my devices.

So, CarryOn? In the luggage, disassembled? Juice labels? Separate locations?

Am I paranoid?

WTH is going on?

Hello?

Blake, Perseas, Qorax, Yankeestud, Akdare and I prefer, "well seasoned" :).

past our warrantee period perhaps? :) In constant pain? I just watched a Louis CK special where he discussed the worst part of his day. It was every morning when he had to put his socks on. I was literally crying from laughter.

Digi, I can answer that (because I travel about 40k a year roughly. In your carry on is fine. In fact, batteries are supposed to be carried there per TSA rules. If you are worried, just break your stuff down into small parts, but I have yet to have a issue. I have taken ABSURD amounts of things and never been questioned.

Also, I can confirm that the spheroid is the device of choice if you plan on sneaking a vape on the plane (which is something I do not recommend) although I may know someone who does this discreetly in the bathroom :) All other devices will leak because of the air pressure. Not the trusty spheroid though.

Hope everyone is well. I am spending the day aggravating myself by messing around taking photos and building micro coils which I am doing a pretty good job smashing as I heat them at the end. Using my teeny, tiny little dark zero toy that I received. It is small. did I mention that? :)

Blake!

Okay, so the Spheroid it is. I am cool with that.

So what about traveling through the metal detectors? No issues there? Should I NOT have my setup fully assembled? Not on my person? How did you transport your liquids?

just put everything in your bag that you send through the x-ray machine. I will break things down (not the spheroid) but will undo the X for example into parts. Only once was I asked. They said "what is that thing that looks like a gun scope" I told them it was a fancy, electronic cigarette and they just shrugged without even checking it out :)

not on you, but in the bag you send through the machine.

+1 to what Blake said, mods are fine by themselves and batteries too your juice still needs to go in a ziplock bag and smaller than I think 3oz bottles.

Looks much bigger in the pics you see online... Got mine in the mail yesterday right alongside the package from you. I'm finding it works great though, just use apair of those spring tweezers and torch um up

Yep, those cross lock tweezers are great...perfect amount of pressure while you torch it.

Digitals, just put in your carry on. Put juices in a baggy and put that on the tray, just like you would any other liquid...they've seen all sorts of mods, and recognize them immediately.
Last time I went though heathrow, the security screening guy said "electronic cigarette?" I said "yep" and he goes "show me." Let me tell you he didn't have to ask me twice...airport vaped with permission :)

But seriously, treat it like any other electronic...do note that tanks will leak, so unless it's a spheroid, don't fill em (personal experience talking)
