I hope I can post it here, since Perseas posted it over on vaporwall

"Sneak preview of GP salt & Pepper. That is a prototype unit. Until now it works well."

It may depend on the juice - and preference. I've found a laser-drilled carto with a 2.5mm hole that works nicely at 2.0ohm. You may end up trying a sampling of between 1.5 and 2.0 to see what you like before you buy up in bulk. Nothing worse than burnt carto taste. I usually run my RBA's, including the Spheroid between 1.2 and 1.5. I don't know that carto's come in as large of variety as atomizers either - I usually just see LR (2.0) or SR (3.0).

Hi Jacoji, not sure if I said thanks for the oring tip on the other thread. Thank you. Flawless

There are 1.5 LR Boges and Smoke Techs available. I have been punching them for tanks for the occaisional on the go, feeding horses or airport if I have to hand it over to TSA to get on a plane. Having to lose one on a cheap mod means nothing. I dont think I will maintain that thought with the S&P as I will have to own one and will not be willing to seperate with it.

I'm kind of excited here. A friend of mine managed to score another picollo and sphearoid and offered to sell them to me. Yay!! One for menthols and one for other flavors. Now I best be ordering some fluff and wick.

Just a heads up for some who may be a drip tip geek like me. I found out some of the designer glass drip tips do not fit the sphearoids and newer rebuildable drippers out there. Was surprised about that.

GP Piccolo updates
We are scheduling a new production for the Classic Piccolo v2.5, after we finish the production of GP PAPS X and GP Salt & Pepper.
We have made minor modifications, so it will be a Classic Piccolo v2.6 with the same form factor able to accept 14500 batteries out of specs like EFEST v2.
These changes will have compatibility with previous version 2.5 and v3 as spare parts.

GP Spheroid Updates
We'll have delays to the production of GP Spheroid v2.1 with scratch resistant coating due to the high rate of failure during that treatment. We lost 130 units from the last batch, so we have to reconfigure our approach for the certain coating. Until we improve them, we'll continue to produce v2 with the best materials available, PEEK, 316 SS etc.

There will be an option in a few days for 24 karats gold plated posts and
24 karats gold plated 510 pin connector for a better conductivity.
Although, only one post matters, the positive post, both posts will be gold plated for visual purposes.
And of course the 510 pin connector will be gold plated also.

Tests were done for 24 karats gold plated posts and 24 karats gold plated 510 pin connector for a better conductivity.

Update:

Finally we decided not to make them, the golden plated 510 pin connection wears very easily, so there is no gain to make only the other 2 posts golden plated.

GP Series updates:
GP PAPS X: 2-3 weeks at most.
GP PAPS v2.1: we need a few days more, due to last moment's manufacturing delays.
GP Spheroid v2: we're thinking to put them in stock with the GP PAPS v2.1 for people who want them both, to save shipping cost.
GP Spheroid v2.1: we're testing a new scratch resistant coating.
GP Piccolo v2.6: we're preparing some updates and some experiments are going on right now with its finish.
GP Salt & Pepper: we are waiting the fused quartz glass tubes, the unit is almost ready, 2-3 weeks for production.

Many times, we share what we are doing at the moment and it is easy, even for us to forget, that the inherent nature of modding is above all an experimental one. Here is an example of an experimental scratch resistant coating over the SS tube and its parts, for the updated GP Piccolo v2.6
We are pondering of testing it with the Spheroid as well.

For the history, I would like to present you the form of the first GP PAPS 18000x as it was first designed and presented back on 2011.
The first units had brass switches and top caps with aluminium tubes. Except the Hellenic forum and the Youtube video from the December of 2011, no one abroad has ever seen these photos.

The first presentation was on September 2011 in the Hellenic forum
