You seem to have it all figured out. Design to build to delivery. Please dont screw things up with a Vendor! Less profit for you, more headache and cost for us.

We have been approached by many vendors, but only the few that have the same madness with us about support and quality will be chosen.

A polished tube from the upcoming Lux edition of GP PAPS 2.1 with CNC engraving.
It is from aluminium bronze, it is hard, close grained and with great wear resistance in harsh working environments.
This tube is generally far more resistant to selective attack and corrosion than a brass one.
The hardness and the conductivity of this alloy is superb due to high levels of copper and aluminium and it is nickel-free and phosphorous-free.
Aluminium bronze should be considered as a bronze with mechanical properties similar to those of a high-grade steel.
With the additional advantage of a better conductivity and a jewel like appearance, without the softness of the brass.

Dude, very nice and I know your into the details and you know Im a Paps user but unless it come out in a few sizes and actually comes out, as opposed to the perpetual out of stock that exists on your site then I' ll probably pass, and no folks, I'm not having a dig at Perseas, when I had problems with the replacement button I ordered his customer service went well above the required standard. But it's like the PapsX, after all this wait I' m kinda over it, once again, not having a dig, last month I told some one here struggling with the spheroid not to give up trying and that I was more than happy with carto tanks for myself, now I'm on rba and there's bits of wire/mesh all over my desk, nothing stays the same, we all change. I still recommend Paps as a brilliant PV to people down here in Australia but its always with the caveat that ( like most if not all of the high end PV's) there are long waiting times,,,,,,

I personally don't mind the current cycles of produce, notify, sell. That "notify" in there makes a big difference.

Why even post this?
If you were really over it, you would have no reason to post your meaningless thoughts. It's simple, move on.
Some of us are happy to know that VapourArt quality is not compromised with over production or releasing a product that isnt ready. Like so many vendors do. I think most of us also like the fact that there is a limited quantity. It seperates us from the "carto people".... oh wait.
I can only speak for myself and mean no disrespect but, I could care less about your personal issues with the product or stock.
Stick with your carto tanks and the things that make you happy. Good Luck, I would not hesitate to bet that you are the minority.

Lets put it down to see what happens:

GP PAPS v2.1 will be available again in 7-9 days.
GP PAPS V2.1 LUX will be available on 10-15 of May due to Easter holidays, all CNC shops will close for over a week.
GP Piccolo v2.6 on May for the same reasons, possibly GP Piccolo 3.1 plus a new production for support for the previous GP Piccolo v2.5 and GP Piccolo v3 owners.
GP PAPS X on May for the reasons above and the reasons I explained in a previous post.
GP Spheroid will be available again next week.
GP Salt & Pepper on May for the same reasons.

Add to the equation that PAPS TEAM is 4 persons, (2 of them speak English) who are behind those mods and the production goes back and forth in 2 countries, while we have under testing another 3 projects.
Support for the current versions and for many of the previous ones, plus advance notifications and presence in Facebook, Twitter, VapourArt, VaporWall, ECF, UKVapers, VapePit, e-kapnisma.gr and AussieVapers. And we are not rich guys to invest millions.

-Do try to tell that to the young people of today. Do they believe ya?

-Noo!

The original four Yorkshire men sketch from At Last, the 1948 Show.
John Cleese, Graham Chapman, Tim Brook-Taylor & Marty Feldman perform the original version of the sketch.

I know what you mean Richo about the waiting times and mods that are constantly out of stock. It drives me crazy also. I know you are an avid paps fan (I am Captain on AV) and that you mean no disrespect to perse but what are the other options here. They either keep it secret till the release or they do what all makers do and build anticipation. I check the classifieds everyday now and i am shocked by the markups that some of these mods are going for and what people actually pay is just insane. Its not fair at all and people who mark up their items for the sake of lack of availability are just plain evil. Yes one could say they are just making the best of the opportunity and that people can pay what they want and it has nothing to do with me but i really feel due to the limited supply of most mods, people are just purchasing to resell and this screws all of us over. If you dont like it or if it does not suit you, pass it on for rrp to someone that wants it. Be fair, we are all in this together in this tight nit community of vapers. The Paps team are so far the only ones i know that just drip out supply as it comes as opposed to huge long wait periods like most other mods have. I noticed an announcement that some paps were up for sale so i waited up and got one. This is the way it should be. Well that is what i think anyway.

No disrespect taken, as long as new users understand ( and I've pointed them to a Paps as an example of a good, high quality Mod, mainly because its in my hand all the time ) that to get one of them there is a wait, this discourages them so I end up having to suggest average pieces of rubbish from China that will fall to bits, I meant no disrespect , if you choose to interpret it that way, so be it. It's a double edged sword, a Paps is wanted by more and more people, the production is kept low to ensure quality, but less and less can actually " get" one, collectors and on sellers snag them, and the regular folk don't, it's not the fault of the Mod Makers, but the higher end mod selling has become more scary ( to me at least ) lately. Oh , I use carto's, Genisis, and when my order comes in I'll be trying ( and probably failing at Ceramics), as this will be my last post in this thread I apologise to Perseas should any offence has been made, and if I'm a minority of one so be it,,just remember, what ever keeps you off the coffin nails is the reason we do this.

RichoVonBlack,

Mate, I tried to lighten the atmosphere, telling with a funny post, how hard we work to increase the production. You didn't insult anybody in my opinion and I don't want you to stop posting in my threads.
On the contrary, I want to thank you for your loyalty and your patience with us!
Post whatever you like, every feedback is welcome here :)

I share your feelings about the lack of availability, because I waited 2 months to get in my hands the Orion, even 5 months to have other stuff too.

I am a fanatic vaper and all our team also and we work 14-18 hours per day to improve production, quality, design etc. This is the situation with all the modders, it is a matter of time to cover the needs of our customers.

I would like to see many posts of yours here, I always appreciate them, albeit my sense of humour is weird sometimes, bear with me :D

My smartphone really helped me acquire a PAPS. I've never been one to use social media to spontaneously announce my every move to the world, but I finally joined twitter and set up the app on my phone, just to subscribe to VapourArt for instant notifications. It was about 3 weeks of watching and waiting, but I planned to be on the site the moment they became available, the hardest part was anticipation while pages were reloading during the sale, but it worked. I was fully prepared to expect the worst and have to wait for the next sale, but I planned and prepared myself well. It made the experience more joyful like catching a big fish.

I'm happy that at least production continues and there is always another chance, some other mod makers never have stock and I was unable to find a way to keep track of production and release the way I was with VapouArt. To me, VA is the best bet for an easy buy considering the other options, for such a small crew with limited capabilities, I consider it an easy buy. It takes planning though, you can't just check in now and then and hope to nail the lotto, if you truly want one. Get the date, get instant twitter notifications, get PayPal set up, set an alarm, and plan on having a strong internet connection. The work is worth it considering the quality and price, and there's always another chance.

Sorry, my error, I meant "as this will be my last post in this thread for tonight I apologize to Perseas should any offense has been made, and if I'm a minority of one so be it,,just remember, what ever keeps you off the coffin nails is the reason we do this.

I was gasbagging on another site about Anzac Day, everyone has an opinion, if we all "parroted" the same thing it would be a very boring thread, I always use the same rule, "its the internet, never take it too seriously", my preference for the Paps will remain ( Ive got three), but PV's are going to replace Death Sticks, I'd like to see the Paps being at the middle of the market, with a sizable presence, but the down side is unknown, interesting times.
