There are a limited number of slots available for Registered Suppliers to become Forum Suppliers (who have their own forum). Forum Suppliers also pay ECF more for the space.
Nitty-gritties here:

Thanks Snork. I was Just curious. I am fairly confident in saying that a lot of the regulars here in this forum would love to be able to start topic specific threads. It would also be great for all the updates that Perseas puts out there.

Time for an upgrade Perseas. ;)

I'd opine otherwise. No.
1. Let him save that additional/unnecessary expense - and let's continue to have our Paps in this awesome price(!).
2. Just one thread makes Perseas's life easier (responding)... note that he's always around, other suppliers r seldom.
3. There r not much tweaks required in this mod, thus there won't be variety of queries needing different threads.
4. More the threads - more the mess(!).
5. One query - everyone sees it - Perseas sees it - responses r noted - we all know about it. More threads - many wouldn't visit - thus remain unaware of something which might be of interest to him/her as well.

IMHO.

Ok, Qorax, you win. LOL. I didn't think of all that. I still think that it would be great to have the option for topic specific threads, but all you said makes a lot of sense. I guess I was just thinking as a new person who hasn't been around this forum as much as a few you have and am not as familiar with what has been said and what hasn't. It would be easier to navigate through thread topics VS scrolling through 100s of pages trying to find out when the next batch is coming out, or whether or not someone is having problems with the switch on piccolo V3. For those of us (I will now anyway) that follow this thread daily, it might be no great convenience to have a dedicated sub-forum, but for the new people, and people who cant/don't visit the thread but every few days, topic specific threads would be greatly beneficial.

P.S.

But, if it would take away from the great service that Perseas provides on such a wonderfully priced, quality mod, then I am fully against it.

Thanks for agreeing.
Though it was just an opinion, my view-point... and others might have better reasoning, for or against.

Nonetheless, to answer ur main query... reg. newbs having difficulty finding answers... the Great Part of this thread has been - "Seek and You Shall Receive", aka "Ask a Question and it'd be Answered" - mostly by Perseas (the Great!) himself, or soemone else for sure.

This is why GP Paps is so popular... it's not just a great mod... it encompasses an entire system - a full package - where we could be one-to-one, directly with the Modder - on realtime basis - life long! It is Perseas' Customer Service skills that draws most of us to this page regularly, if not every day. And I'm yet to see another Modder elsewhere who is so candid!

I have only been around this thread for a short time now and I can see that Perseas is a great person and truly cares about his products and customers. I am excited to be part of this this community. I had a V1 paps a while back, but sadly I was still new to vaping and looking forward to trying everything out there. So I traded it. :( But I remember absolutely loving the short throw and light action of the switch. I didn't like that I had to lock it every time I set it down. But with the 2.5 switch, I think the vaping world has seen perfection. The Paps 2.5 is just great. I can say with certainty that this little guy will be last mod to leave my possession and that's only if/when I decide to stop vaping.

Everything of general interest like tips & tricks, updates, releases etc is posted here:

if you have any issue with the Piccolo v3 switch, we are preparing an update part for this and soon I'll post about it.
Quorax is right in his reasoning, but you are right also. I will apply for that in the future.

LOL. I have no problem with the Piccolo V3 switch. I have just been reading through this thread since page one. and a couple months ago there seemed to be a little confusion over the operation of the V3 switch. Thats the only reason I said that.

Hey perseas... the gf and I are loving the new switches, ill check for myself once I get back home but i thought i might as well ask while im here at work.... would I be able to use my old 2.1 gold plated switch upgrades (reverse threaded) in these 2.5 switches?

The caravela is top notch, if you were comparing it with the version 2 paps I would of said the 'vela ... but my gf has a SS mixed finish 'vela and honestly, with all the changes perseas and his team have made... the new materials, improved threading, flat top caps, adjustable positive post, and the new switch with the ability to take it apart and clean it easily and esp the newest one, being able to set it down without locking, I prefer the paps. And im not just saying that bc im a huge fanboy :). I do love.the reverse threaded locking ring on the 'vela though, but honestly having that part reverse threaded just causes the same problems going the other direction. That said, doesnt mean im not excited to get another 'vela for myself when my turn on the list comes in november

We actually use the GP adjustable positive post in our 'vela... its much better than the annoying interchangeable pins that come with it. Also when the 'vela switch gets stuck, it gets STUCK. like no other.

Yes, the buttons are compatible, they should fit, if not tell me :)

Just got my 2nd Lux in today... Odd thing, the serial number of the 2nd (0307) one is lower than my 1st one (0493). Not complaining... Just an observation.

This is a very accurate observation which is an irritating one for me, because the polisher mixed up the numbers against my instructions, it is not right.
I have posted earlier, that they mixed up the numbers up to 660.
My apologies for that, it won't happen again.

...and a nice 22mm Brass Toned RBA... both with the GP logo and we could say 'F-Off' to the Vela fanboys...

I have to admit my friend that your posts are precise, descriptive and quite persuasive :D
We wait a CNC machine to be released in order to produce a 22 mm Spheroid.
