Passed on VapourDay this time. The last couple of months I have been catching up too fast with the National Debt. Hope those of you that did imbibe scored what you wanted. It'll be a dry spell until Spetember while the GP Team gets some much deserved down time.

But I did get shipping/tracking notification from Dariusz that my 2 new Senio Dripper's for the PAPS are on the way from Europe. That sure was super fast considering they had not been built yet when I placed the order on the 15th.

USPS tracking also shows that the Origen dripper is sitting in my mailbox. It is also for the PAPS. I'll puck it up on one of my wee hours walks tonight.

So I am having a DDD (double drippy day, or it is having a triple trickle time). ;)

Guess I need to go find some Cellucotton as well... although why I don't know... it'll be superseaded by something else next week. Just been using the KGD and some of the SnC wildvet sent me. Still have a big bag of organic cotton balls, an almost full box of KGD, and all the mesh/silca from days of yore that may never get used again. Then there is all the wire...

I'm just taking a break from watching a movie on the 'puter (3 hours long) - will check back in later.

Lunch splurge. Last one for awhile since I spent a lot of lunch money on my TiX! I foresee much instant ramen in my future ... but it was worth it!

I use both hands and the little movement doesn't annoy me, because i press the button upon my ring finger's side knuckle. Thank you for the suggestion.

Must be just me then. Probably my knuckles that broke many years ago (that I just let heal the best way they could), combined with my poor hand strength - must be imparting some kind of twisting action as the button gets pressed.

After about 3 total hours of trying to get the tubes/top cap apart and a swollen hand, I've finally got it together. Man this thing is a beaut and it's super light. This is my first Vapour Art mod and I'm loving it!!!!! I don't know why, but I'm thinking about picking up a SS because I love the Ti so much!

Anyways, #79 checking in from the Bay Area!

I wanted to share a little experience with the button movement on my X. I have taken my button apart a few times and it always went back to performing as always. Earlier this week I gave the whole thing a good cleaning and since I read some of the button "tips" about making sure that you dont tighten etc. I did something different and noticed my button was sliding when pressing and eventually getting a crunchy, clicky feel and even a kind of partial misfire.

*****I wanted to add that detail, as it made it sound like a misfire, GP buttons do not misfire..........******** :)

I took it apart a few times, again with that "do not over tighten" flashing in my head. The spin and loosening again happened.

An hour ago after reading similar things from others, I decided to take it apart and shut that voice out : do not over tighten and put it back on pure instinct. ITs perfect now. I think what may be happening is some like me, were so afraid of overtightening that we are not tightening enough. This time I aligned the squares on nut and top part, made sure it was turned all the way with no movement, but not too tight, screwed in the contact. I applied firm pressure , but not brute strength and the button now has no spin or movement.

Just thought Id share. I knew I had done something different and that the spin had to be because of something I did so I did not post. I know Im new and my experiences taking it apart is little so I waited it out. I know sooner or later someone might post or the lightbulb in my head might turn on. Im trying not to fiddle to much with it as I have been accused of being over compulsive when it comes to cleaning :) Again, Im very impressed at how very little maintenance is needed with the X and how clean all the threads stay and how even the brass bits dont oxidize like other brass bits Ive dealt with. Its an enjoyable and relaxing experience.

Yeah. Saw the box Cucco has. I only imagined Jojo's face me coming home with THAT one.
I got 500'. I don't even know what everyone is doing with the 3lb and 1300' boxes.

Cliffy is the smart one. 40. Bam.

I wanted plenty to share. I figured, it would end up being hard to get. But...........................

If Sally's had a smaller size I would've gotten it instead but the way this stuff is selling I didn't want to risk not being able to get it if I passed on the only big box left in the store.

I had chilblains that affected my hands strength from 6 years old till my mid 20s, when I healed them with a shock therapy. Every winter the knuckles of my hands bloated and bled, my fingers were purple cold, their movement was painful and I couldn't even write well, but I could smoke so I did nothing for them, I believed it was seasonal chilblains. It was a cold winter in early 90's, I was working in a petrol station and a very dear friend who was working there, asked me why my hands appeared so terrible. To my astonishment, he laughed so hard with my explanations about cold weather and chilblains that I felt funny too. He said, my only problem was a terrible blood circulation, because I didn't use my hands properly. What does it mean properly I asked? It was around 4pm, first days of November and it was snowing all day, the sun was pale and ready to set. Come with me to show you what I mean properly, he said with a smile. We walked out of the station, the snow had stop falling and a wet cold air from northwest was beating us. He took a damp leather drying cloth, he put it under the tap and he let it absorb as much water it could hold. Then he gave it to me and asked me to stand in the cold air and with calm and continuous movements to twist it not with my fingers, but with my solar plexus thru my fingers till it becomes completely dry. I had to be focused in my solar plexus and guide my movements from there, he explained the secret was to smile from my heart, while I was doing this action out there. I was intrigued by his theory and I followed his lead. That exercise lasted 3 months, 1/2-1 hour, twice per day, 6 days per week. I can't remember anymore, what a chilblain is.

I screw it down until it stops then just back it off a tad. Always reach the end first. Then turn the clock back.

Ya think? So so sorry.. I had to laugh!

But, at least you're not a pig like I am. :)

Sometimes, I just crack me up!!!! :)

You, my dear are NOT a pig....... You are a "Cool Cat" sleek and smart and fun...... You enjoy and care for your "toys" in a cool, relaxed way...... as they should be

I saw the 3lb next to the 500'. If I really need more I may have problems. But amazon seems to carry it as well. I can still share even this.i don't really have vapers around me. Not those that would use it. Cartos and clearomizers and such.

JP Is the closest but he's a sox fan.
