Pris, so very comforting to see back at home. He will do so much better with all you smothering him in kisses and hugs!

Is he on a special diet?

Yes, they sent us home with a prescription dry food: Royal Canin Gastrointestinal low fat/ low fiber formula. I was surprised to find it at Petsmart for a LOT less than at Amazon.

He is getting a LOT of love and hugs..... We have to give him 6 meds every 12 hours. I dont know how Im going to do it, but I think Im going to crush the tabs and put it in a little spoon of wet food.

Did you set your scope to mechanical zero?

Oh absolutely. I think I know my issue. My dominate eye changed literally in one day a couple years ago unfortunately so I shoot lefty now. I'm learning to cope. I have a pistol course at home outdoors and that was an easy transition. Honestly, this was one of my first rifle shoots in a while. It was a big step for me.

@ JoQueen, HI! I hope your great. Have a Kiss on Brobro for me :)

I was just chatting with a fellow GP fan. We have similar tastes in mods and similar patterns in our journey to the GP world. I was typing and trying to describe the X and the words " a Wolf in sheeps clothing " came out.

I think the X really fits that description. At first glance it really is so simple, no flash, low key. "Looks" kinda average, like many simple tube mods out there. Then you look at it, you notice the finish, its not "just brushed" its like it has diamond dust glazed over the brushed finish etc.

But really, you can not fully comprehend the hype, the cost until you get one in your hands. You touch it and you forget the cost. You start to unscrew it and you mind says.... AHHHH I get it now, all those people in the videos going gah gaa over those threads........ Then you place an atomizer on the top contacts.......

I could go on, but you all KNOW....... It IS a "wolf in sheeps clothing"

Oh, give yankee my thought and hope to a quick recovery........ For years we had wasps get into the house and I would do the same as Id do with most insect critters, Id scoop them gently and let them go. I had done that many times with many a wasp.

I guess I ...... one off one day, and it got me on my knuckle......... Stung like a ........ You would think that my lame rescues of wasps and bees and others , would have curbed but Im kinda stoopid like that.....

I have the same philosophy regarding wasps and flying insects: I don't invite them, but I won't kill them or piss them off. Mosquitos are the only category of insects of which I've been a serial killer (and a few dozens cockroaches), mostly in my youth, when I was consuming tons of sugar, meat and dairy products. I avoid these foods now and mosquitos avoid me as well. Here is the Asylum, I can tell it. Probably I am crazy, but I remember from my childhood meetings with wasps, I remained calm, I just visualised the direction I wanted them to go and they obeyed. It still works. Butterflies are a completely different story, they carry a loving emotional energy along with their beauty, and I wish Spydro will be posting his amazing photos again.

JoAnne, I wish a fast recovery to Yankee :)

These incidents, although serious for the affected person, they are funny to the others, I smiled too when I read it.

Oh man, sorry to learn about Yankee's stinging incident!! Hope he feels better soon!!

I remember when I used to landscape while in college. One time we were trimming some hedges, and we stumbled across one hedge that had a HUGE hornet's nest in it. I told my landscaping boss "there's no way I'm going near that thing".....to which he responded "Don't be a wimp (he may have used a "different" term.... ), they won't bother you if you don't bother them!!"

So I slowly but surely inched closer to the nest with my trimmers. As soon as I started them up (haven't even touched the hedge yet), they came swarming out towards me! I must've gotten stung 20+ times!! Thank goodness I am not allergic to beestings, otherwise I'd be in a world of hurt!!

So I feel Yankee's pain.....Beestings HURT like a mother%&(*!!!

Perseas always the best of descriptions. I hate mosquitos they always tear me up it must be because I am so sweet LOL.
I honestly dont think there is actually a purpose for mosquitos seriously. every other bug, they do something for nature... but could never figure out what purpose they have, and ticks.

Yankee: Sending healing vibes! :)

In life, I have done my best to not kill any creatures. Bugs or otherwise. With a few exceptions. Fleas and ticks, they mess with my critters. We won't be having any of that! Mosquitoes, I'm with Perseas on those beasts! As we speak, there are wasp nests outside my front door. They haven't messed with anyone yet, so I'm good with them. My red Hummer had a dead battery for a while. Some wasps built a nest in the side mirror. When I put new batteries in her, I was attacked. Once I feel better, and start driving her again, they will move on. I have lots of spiders in my house. Spiders are cool. I'm not much into decorating, so I let the spiders do it for me. Being new to Florida, I am now experiencing sugar ants. They are itty bitty little ants. Tiniest little things I ever did see. I'm trying really hard to share my home with them. But, on that one, I am growing a bit weary. I have tried many 'natural' things, to attempt keeping them away. But, no luck. We will see...

I absolutely love the lizards here! Yesterday, I one got in my house. I have cats, so, my house is a very dangerous place for them to be. I managed to capture him, and get him safely outside. My cats get so angry with me when I do that! Cupped in my hands, the lizard bit me, and took a little chunk out of my finger. That is the first time one has bit me. My first lizard wound. Oh well. Certainly, not my worst 'while saving a critter' wound. So, it's all good.

Before getting in my trucks, I go all around them and try to get all the lizards off. I hate, when I am driving down the road, and see a lizard holding on for dear life. Then I need to find a safe place to pull over, and get him to safety. But then, I feel so guilty that I took him away from his home. So sad!
