Question for the genny vets in here. What's the best flavor juices to use in a Genesis? I know custards generally don't fare well, but what kinds really pop?

Custards can be great in a genesis. There are too many factors as to what's "best." The PG/VG ratio of the juice, the resistance of your build, and -- most importantly -- what you like in a vape. I tend to build mine around 0.4 for dual-coil and 0.7 for single-coil. The builds are always steel cable with a ceramic wick or Ekowool sleeve. The former, I generally love for tobaccos and dessert flavors. If I vape fruit or tea then I go with the latter.

I have the GP brushed "classy" drip tip on my Spheroid and I love it. It compliments the lines of it and it works great. And you sure can't beat the price for it either.:)
Jerry I did have a GP drip tip and it was a great shape but metal feels so weird to me! And I do like to change things up! besides my bro really liked it so I gave it to him!

Good morning GP family...I have been away for a while trying out other brands (after I bought almost everything GP manufactures, lol). After all my adventures, my all day, reliable, workhorse, overall best performing vape equipment is still GP made...thanks again Perseas for such a magnificent product line, especially the GP Heron!! :toast:

Hey P, any tidbits of upcoming projects you can share? I know you're up to something!

I missed your post somehow, but better late than never.
You're right! Actually, we are working on 4 projects since spring, and around the end of the year we'll get them into production. I won't speak about them yet, but the Piccolo v4 early prototype is ready and we're satisfied with the results. ETA still unknown, but surely during 2014 for the majority of these projects, Piccolo v4 included.

FOUR?!

...I told myself the only vaping hardware I'd buy for the rest of this year is the Piccolo. And now you tell me you have four projects.

Can we hold off until January for the other 3?

IMO anything fruity is awesome in a Genny. But then there are oddball flavors like Deadly Sin that are also great in gennys....It really depends on how you have it setup and like RPadTV said, what PG/VG ratio you have and what wicking medium you're using....

As a follow up to my posts last week about GVC...it came in two days ago. I was vaping it off my box mod + dripper. It was unvapeable at high watts, okay at medium watts, and meh at low watts. Knew it had to be better. Put it into my Spheroid and...:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I'm a fan for life. Can't wait til the end of Sept when he's back in stock.

How's the 100% VG in a tank? I emailed him directly and he said it works well, but i'd like a second opinion.

Thanks Ray! Appreciate the detailed answer. I wanna stay around .7 as my genny is a Sat22 and the top cap can get really hot when you push the atty. I'll have to experiment a little bit with the mesh I'll be using to see what flavors I dig.

Thanks to you as well JP! I stay true to genny's and use mesh solely. Have 500 and 325. I can get a decent build going, just wanted some opinions on flavor town.

Question for my GP friends,

A while back I stumbled upon a conversation about GVC in this thread. At that time I didn't even know what it was and some one was kind enough to explain it to me.

I was able to pick up a couple of 50ml bottles and would like to try it in my Spheroid on a regulated mod. All of my mods are at least 30 watt.

My question here is somewhat simple (I hope), I am very curious as to anyone's particular build where you consider you get the most satisfying flavor from GVC? I do understand that build and flavor are both subjective, but since it's a Spheroid so I am asking you!

Thanks

I'm sitting on my front steps pretending to work from home while vaping on a Spheroid (PAPS X 18500) at 1.2 ohms (4 wraps of 30awg on silica) and it's fantastic.

Keep it off your dripper, IMO, especially if it's low ohm. Keep it above 1 ohm, too, as high wattage make it harsh. On my regulated Raptor 60W it was only good at under half power (running a dripper at .7 ohms). Above that it hurt my throat. It's much better at the higher

I emailed Grant to ask him about his preferences and he runs it in a tank at 1.8 ohm. It seems this is a low wattage liquid. I'm happy at 1.2 but I'm going to rebuild my Spheroid to 1.6 tonight to see how that goes.

Just my own opinion here, but fruits and tobaccos really shine in a genesis. Bakery/custards seem better in tanks and drippers. YMMV.

I think all 5 projects including Piccolo v4 will be around December/January ready. We are a bit slow and we tend to change things at the last moment :)

Well it looks like I'll have to open my wallet again. I just can't say no to you...

Any info on these projects? Just a teaser to get my credit card warmed up?
