Well, I'll give you some "out on your own" feed back. I didn't know the Gpin wasn't designed, nor is supported for sub ohming, but i do it on my v3 18500, .40-.50ohms with an aw imr 18490. I haven't experienced the button getting hot or warm at all, but the atty and top cap area can get extremely hot if i'm chain vaping or playing around with clouds. I did read that the recommended battery is an AW IMR, not a VTC, which is why it probably heats up like crazy under heavy load. Now, i do have an 18650 tube for the v3 and I just tried it with the aforementioned build and a vtc4 and it seemed fine over here. However, now that I know the pin cant handle that type of load, i'll lift up the resistance on my builds with the v3.

Just as a reminder and not to bring it up AGAIN :) but a good rule of thumb is to not exceed 75% of your batteries capacity. Leave room for error.
With a 18500 consider regulating the battery :).

psst...I don't ever worry about GP, I worry about batteries :).

The GPin can handle a load of 0,3 ohm with an AW battery and lower, as we found out during testing, but because we don't endorse sub ohming, the increased battery drain with the Sony VT4 or VTC5 is still unconfirmed. I'm using right now a Sony VTC5 in my X with a pretty low resistance (I don't recommend it - don't ask how low) and while the Heron becomes hot during chain vaping, the button remains conveniently warm. The GPin's spring thickness and shape is not accidental, it is a safety net for those who use subohm, we were obligated to do that, because they will do it anyway :)

I love just having one rule!! GP rules!! Hope everyone is having a great day, I know I am!!

Insulators enroute. Sorry I missed the question last night :).

That is wonderful, Sedge. Brings back fun memories. Please keep us posted on what you decide to get.

Idabro. I am Blessed, sir. And I hope you the same. Vaping on some GVC for the first time, thanks to JP. I can't wait until the next sell of this fine product. I now see what everyone is talking about. :)
So happy to hear that it made it and that you're a fan!! Good stuff that GVC is.. :)

Since moving here to Florida, I live on my lanai. 365, 24/7. I don't use the rest of my home. Living on the lanai, has been very interesting. I experience all the sights, sounds, smells, etc. that nature has to offer here, at all hours of every season. Critter sights and sounds.. Hot.. Cold.. Wind and rain.. Yup, at times I even get a bit wet. Most, think I am nuts. They say "Turn on your air conditioning/heat". Nah... They don't know what they are missing. :)

Got my 18350 tube, v3 switch, and v3 top cap today - thank you Perseas and Blake! :)

I've never had a Paps v3 before, just Xs ... am I crazy for liking the v3 switch more than the X switch? Maybe it's the size of my hand, the length of my fingers, not sure, but my ring finger knuckle hits dead center on the switch button, it's absolutely heavenly to use, and the throw seems MUCH shorter. I love it!

A full 18500 v3 mod is next on my list. Just let me know when they're back in stock, P!

I so wish we had a lanai, I'd love to spend more time outside in the backyard. Unfortunately we have a very small backyard with very little shade.

Oh man, how fantastic Todai! Enjoy.
I will let you in a little secret, I still go back in forth on my favorite GP devices and switches. Today its my 350 Lux and ss 650. I get such a kick out of watching this thread go back and forth on their favs, its a riot. Right now I am a mostro de PAPS Lux but, my X's are working their way in.
One thing I can say is that I love my Piccolos. They are just great for me and D. Topped with a Spheroid I use them on my walks daily and first thing in the am we both water the gardens with them.
And, has anyone stopped and thought about the name Piccolo? Coolest ever.
