My SS X finally hit the pavement this weekend (was just a matter of when). Bourbon, beer, sitting on a picnic table bench, X in my lap, went to get up all of a sudden...
There's a scrape on the button and my CI drip tip got a little scuffed. Other than cosmetic it took it like a champ.
Thank god it wasn't my Lux X, which now doesn't leave the house!

The X is a BEAST! Not only can it take a beating, it can give one too :D
I was way more upset when my 2.5 dropped.

Yeah, I've dropped my X a number of times and all I have is minor scratches. Nothing major, I was more concerned for my bathroom tile as it left a small chip on it. Lol

I was so bummed the day I dropped my X #1. Because she was apart at the time, she ended up with two chips. It took a long time to get over those chips. I said that, like I'm really over them. Yea right! :)

You can anyways buy new tubes. [emoji6]

When I was really young, I used to do some 'collections/repos' in some very questionable areas. I bet we both have some stories to tell, on that subject. I don't want to do that again! :)
Same here. We sold the building to a nice gentleman from Canada, who rarely visited the building and tried to manage it via a property management company. The drug dealers took over and the rest is history. He called and asked if i wanted to buy it back. I declined. When I owned it, I made unscheduled visits at least 4 times a month. It was a safe place for our tenants to live. I got to know most of them, and enjoyed their life stories. We invested in a great onsite management team and compensated them fairly for their hard work. The new owner did not see a need for an onsite team and hired a property management company.
I paid the building a visit a couple of years later and it was sad site to see.

Life is a journey, a ride of sorts. Along your journey you will share it with others. Most all will have an impact on your life. Both good and bad. Part of your experience, and who you become, is how you embrace both and how both shape you.

I just wanted to share this. A reminder for all.

Been wanting an Odin for a while now,.....how do you like it? They look very nice!!

I'm really enjoying it. I tried it single coil, at first. As expected it performed on par with my Heron build (exact same coil, far less capacity, not to mention a bit messy inside). a little less time consuming to rewick than my Heron though... maybe good for some quick flavor changes. I didn't expect it to replace my Heron - and it still won't.

Then I took that same coil and dual coiled it. It's at .8 now even though my single is at 1.3. Whoa. Extra flavor and extra vapor but I don't think dual coil will be my all-day thing.

I normally vape 8mg. The lowest I have is a few 6mg. I've tried all of them in the dual coil and they are very, very tasty (e-liq pink starburst, GVC, and Mystic Haze Skull Candy - caramel apple) but starting get a huge nic rush.

I would recommend (fwiw since I'm new to higher end dripping)!

One thing I've always believed is very similar to what you're saying. Whenever bad things happen or have happened to us in life, you have two choices:
One, look at it negatively, dwell on it, hold a grudge, and be negative.
Two, look at positive outcomes and make something better out of it.
As a youngster, I was "abused" physically by my correctional officer father. Being the oldest boy of 8 kids, I did things that he experienced for his first time as a parent. He was abused by his father too.
He always told me, he did it to me, I did it to you, and you will one day to your kids.
From that day, I made a promise to myself.
And it has made me so loving towards children. I don't have my own yet, but I love to make kids laugh. Kids love me. It's great.
So I often thank my father for making me that way. I could have just been a douche and hated kids and acted the same way. But I can't. So just proving my point.
