70s Leisure Suits were polyester. Melts like plastic.

Rayon doesn't melts. It burns and almost virtually disappears leaving just a bit of light colored ash. Reminiscent of rice paper cigarette papers. The smell is clean, not unpleasant woody smell.

Rayon is made of wood or other plant pulp. Polyester is a polymer. ..a plastic.

I believe that because the rayon name was coined by the chemical processing industry many associate it synonymous with a plastic.

We are coming closer to the cigarettes in a sneaky way

I am experimenting with ramie for some time now.

So far, it is a PITA in my opinion, too hairy and needs to be boiled to get rid of the taste, I prefer KGD, but it seems I have to try cellucotton as well.

No no. You have it all wrong. You'll be making pillows from all the precious wicking material. I just also received a box of kgd.

In my case, I have silica ropes. Jojo may just hang me with them with all the new wicking I've brought in.

The X series is 23mm. The heron is 22.

I'm still waiting on my KGD order from DermStore that they've emailed me 3 times to tell me it's still back ordered!
I'm really liking the KGD and now you people tell me it's old news and to jump on the new bandwagon.
Thanks to JPC I've got enough KGD to last me a little while but now I'm wondering if I should just cancel the order and jump on this Rayon y'all keep talking about.

+1 I have way more than what's left of my lifetime in supplies of wicking materials in various sizes, silica, mesh, organic cotton balls, KGD, SnC... Now the new kid on the block is CC you also want me to buy?
