My 9/11 story, is still very vivid in my mind..

Hubby and I had a place in Maine. A little cabin on many acres, tucked away in the mountains of our very own nowhere land. Most years, we would spend approximately 1.5 months there. Our regular life was 24/7 busy! So, our camp was our heavenly escape from the world. Just us, and nature. During our time there, we had little to no knowledge of what was going on in the world. No TV, cell phones, etc.. That year, we headed home on September 11th. When we got home, we stopped at one of our regular diners. Everyone's eyes were glued to the TV. The first plane had just hit. Under 'normal' circumstances, that news would have been huge. But, after having been secluded from civilization for that time, with no daily barrage of horrible nightly news.. I believe, it hit us even harder than it would have normally. It made it, that much more surreal. Definitely, a moment and emotions, I will never forget.

BTW: We had just passed through New York on our way home. If we had started our trip just a bit later, we would have been stuck on the other side of New York.

Definitely my "JFK moment". I work in the exact same room I was in that day and remember it all pretty clear.
We heard about a plane hitting and figured it was just a small plane mishap. Went into the back where the lawyer's offices were and while watching the news about the first hit saw the second plane hit live and then the towers crumbled.
I work on base and they sent us home not long after the Pentagon got hit.

laughing-hard-smiley-emoticon.jpg Sometimes, I just have to laugh at me! I have been using my very long Tanbur Tips forever. Regardless of mod or atty. I love them! A couple of weeks ago, I won a certificate to purchase a couple of tips. So, I ordered one that is similar to my Tanbur Tip. It is a bit shorter, so I am not thrilled. I also ordered one that is long and bent. Plus, it has a bit of a head on it. Oh my... I laughed, when I bought it. I laughed, when I opened the package tonight. I am giggling as I sit here vaping it. I have to say, I think I like it.

Now... Do I have what it takes, to walk out of the house with it? We will see! :)

Hello GP Peepols!
@ kde, sorry if I missed this but, what wicking medium are you using? GP fluff v2? I hope so. There is no substitute :). Seriously. If you are ordering on VDay don't forget a couple sheets. If you are not ordering, then dammit ORDER.
Jk, if you can't make the order shoot me a pm.

Sadly, I don't need anything. I made a parts order on opening day, but that's about it. I keep going back to see if there's anything I want because GP Mail makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. :)

Funny story went to a vape shop yesterday, guy was helping me out really nice, he saw my spheroid and asked to try it! I ofcourse let him, we talked a bit more and iwas getting ready to check out and startted talking about the aspire nautilus and he asked if I tried the bvc coils, I said no, and he said well it might actually be as good as the spheroid.

The BVC coils are very, very good. Now, you all know I take my vaping quite seriously, but I tried a friend's Nautilus BVC a few days ago with a juice I know very well. Flavor was at least as good as a Kayfun. Not joking guys.

Not even close to a proper Spheroid, but I mean come on, that's pretty hard to beat.

I'll stick to my expensive rebuildables, but for new vapers that want a easy clearo setup, all I can say is that we've come a long way since 2009. A long way.

Happy Vapourday everyone! I got my order in. I got a v3 switch, more fluff, some silver plated M3 and M4 pins, some extra v3 springs, and of course a GP Paps v3 Flat Top Cap. I debated getting a Heron - maybe next time.

I saw this while I was waiting for the store to open at 8:00 AM my local time:

The timer showed that the store was to open at 9:00 AM CDT, but it was an hour off. The timer that was on the site before the store closed was correct.

Hey Idaho - thank you so much for the offer! I do use GP filler material. Supposedly there's some fish filter material I can use but when the price different is only ~10% why bother? I have about 4 square feet that i bought from Domo Vapor Co when I got my Spheroid. Thought I'd need to swap that stuff out often - but i'm on the same ~1"x3" section one month later!

What's everyone getting?

I picked up a Heron and a PAPS v3! I'm a bit...obsessive about making sure things line up right and couldn't let myself use the PAPS X converted for a Heron..

I bought an Aspire Mini Nautilus with BVC for a friend looking to quit smoking. Told him 'i need to clean it for you first' so that I could try it out (lol). Wasn't that impressed. Didn't leak all over me and flood every 5 minutes like the Kangers I used when I started, but it didn't provide anywhere near the quality vape of a rebuildable.

That really threw me off! When I actually went back to the site to check the timer I noticed the site was back up and thought I was going to have missed all the sales (this was about 40 minutes after the sale started). Fortunately for me, though, that wasn't the case. V3 SS and Heron were both in stock!

Aaaand now i'm broke. But happy and broke is better than GP-less with money, right?

GP Paps 18350 with new Line LE atomiser by Van.
I've been using the GP Paps as my main device for a few years now (usually with the bigger 18650 tube).
No issues at all apart from the switch circlip (it stretched a little - probably due to me disassembling the switch too often). An easy fix with some pliers once I get around to it.
In 18350 mode it is very compact yet powerful enough for the Line atomiser.
