@ NY, if you get a chance and have a bit of ribbon from Lord P, wrap a bit around a 1/16 drill bit and thread some KGD through it. It's a fantastic vape.

I forgot to mention, I try and stay above 1.2 ohms(actually I love 1.5) in the Spheroids as for me it enhances the already kick ayass flavor we love from the Spheroid.
I have a ton of wick pictures of you'd like me to bomb your inbox :).

If it's as simple as a cut-and-paste I'd appreciate the bombardment as well :)

Hey Brother, I set most of mine up with a 1/16 micro and KGD. I also run Lilly cotton yarn with the same micro.
You will find that KGD is a bit more limp but the right length(just barely touching the fluff) will lean nicely on the tank tube.
The nice thing about the Spheroid is that it just isn't picky about wick medium.

I have run only Silica and Ekowool - I find i get better flavor from the Ekowool but for some reason I get a dry hit every three or four pulls. I may have wrapped the coil too tight. I'm quite bad at wrapping anything but micro coils, probably due to my previous experiences of wrapping it too loose and getting bad metallic taste. I may try a microcoil and some rayon, as I find I prefer the clean taste of that to japanese cotton (though I do have and will try both now).

would love to know how that peach tea tatses!
Sorry for the late reply. I was double checking all the flavors. So far the only one I think I'll be ordering again is the strawb guab. The peach tea tastes very authentic in that it isnt the sweetened type of tea. I can't pinpoint the flavor of tea but it has a peach flavor similar to if one boiled the tea with peach slices included. I am sampling them all on mesh btw so the flavors might differ if vaped on kgd cotton.

Hi folks :) I haven't posted for a while, but I'm lurking.

Having bought my first Spheroid last vapour day, I now have a Heron and various bits and bobs winging their way to Australia. I ordered early and received my shipping confirmation email 58 minutes after ordering! Thanks Perseas - I love my GP gear!

I'm an idiot - forgot to order a lux AFC ring for the new Heron

On the bright side, I ordered just after 11pm Sydney time on Friday night. The Heron was delivered in Sydney just after lunch on Monday. Absolutely spectacular delivery time from the depths of Europe!!!!!!

Thanks friend.
I'm glad it ain't picky. My Heron results have been mixed, due to the wick. I've had a hard time keeping the KGD or CC wicks up. No offense to the puritans listening. When it worked, it worked great. When it didn't, well, you know.

I do have P's ribbon, and haven't tried it ever. Was a bit intimidated, but your pic helped. 5 wraps?

My inbox is empty at the moment. When you have nothing else to do, bomb on, buddy.

Whats up newyourk13, I'm going to throw my 2 cent in on the Heron mediums. I've played with CC, KGD and Shiseido for quite a bit of time trying to determine which one works best imo for me with the Heron. IMO, Shisedio works the best, CC is second and KGD is third. Shiseido seems to absorb the liquid just enough, then release it. Also, it works really well when I chain vape. The reason I found that KGD didn't work that well is because it absorbs the liquid too well and won't release is enough to flow in the Heron (or my Russian 91%). I use the KGD in my drippers and it works fantastic. Now, the CC works really well too in the Heron, but for me it works better in something like the Russian or Kayfun. I get a lot more flavor and a better chain vaping experience from CC in the Russian/Kayfuns.

Now, here's the irony. I have CC in my Spheroid and it works great. I tried Silica, but I didn't think the results where that great when compared to CC. Based on my experience with the Heron and Shiseido, I probably will try that next in the Spheroid...

I agree; CC seems to work very well in the Spheroid. For a long time I was just running a silica lasso wick with 4-wraps of 30ga. It vaped well, but when I switched to microcoil/CC, I was amazed at how much more VTF I got.

IMO the best aspect of the Spheroid is how veratile it is. You can set it up many different ways, and it will always reward you with an awesome vape! :)

I was really unimpressed by Velvet Cloud Vapors. I've heard rave reviews about them but they're really just...okay. Their tobacco flavors aren't very good - they do some all-natural tobacco flavor extraction thing that just ends up tasting like you're licking a dried tobacco leaf. The other flavors I have are just average, and do not warrant the price you have to pay for them. The only thing I got from them that I might reorder is Monkey Business - though it doesn't taste anything like described. I get banana and chocolate while it's described as banana, fudge, cake batter, and coffee. They do banana better than most.

That's impressive! I ordered and paid half an hour after VapourDay countdown ended and my order still hasn't been fulfilled :( Hoping it gets here by the weekend!

Hi buddy and thank you for the support! Give me please your order number to check it. We sent almost all the orders today, although we had announced prior the sale that we'll send them during this week http://www.vapourart.com/en/announcement/september-12-vapourday
Normally, tomorrow and the next day, we'll send the rest, and I think you'll have your parcel this week.

Yeah, you know me.... I would be all over a GP genny in a heartbeat! My only plea is that you give adequate airflow options for this one! I'm feeling weak in the knees right now at the thought of a GP genny. Do this already! :)

Sorry Nach, unfortunately, we haven't changed our mind from the last time we spoke about creating a GP genisis :(

We have designed a unique genisis system since 2012, but we abandoned it for the sake of silica/cotton builds.

Idaho has an elephant's memory, he recalled a discussion I had with him back then.

Right there with you! It was 111 yesterday where I was. I was supposed to participate in a Spartan Race and it was cancelled by the emergency services because of the results of the prior race on Saturday. Too many cases of heat stroke and dehydration I imagine. I am certainly looking forward to when the weather calms down!

Sorry it's so ........ Hot. Here in Kansas city is has been in the 60s, we have had just a perfect summer! Very mild, only a few weeks of 90s and above! Not bad at all! A great summer for our hvac system to break, have the new one in now so we are set for winter! Sucked a lot of dough right outta my pocket
Maybe I should check the farmers almanac and see how our winter is gonna be ...

NY, congrats on the spheroid. A+.

Spam: NOO. I combated that by whitelisting VapourArt :)

Idaho: received your sock shipment. I thought you were replacing them with some newer ones since you so heavily used these. I thought wrong as it appears to be missing fabric in places it needs it.

Perseas: elephant memory to say the least. I think he audio records as well for playback. Hello to the crew. :)

Iowa: I'm getting a severe taste on the busy spell. A crazy month. Have fun!

Weather report: jackets are coming out for mornings here. I can't believe it.

Whoever I missed and everyone else. Hello and been a while.

Congrats to everyone on their VapourDay haul. Greatest gear hands down.

I got so busy I missed a few mod cleanings. Spent last weekend doing the hose down. My throat never thanked me so much. :)

Next up. Yard work to prepare for the winter season. I can't believe it's almost garden tear down time. Lost all tomatoes to late blight epidemic that's hammered a few states but some squash and cukes are here. Carrots were pulled this weekend and mmmm. :)

From what I have been hearing you don't want to check the almanac...sounds like a repeat of the long, cold winter we had last year:(
