Two wick holes of 2,2 mm, it doesn't leak without fluff. I vape it with and without, there is a difference between the 2 modes in taste and vapour temperature, the fluffless build is warmer, you refill sooner but faster.

Must say I'm quite curious what's inside that chamber. And how we will get the wick through the chamber holes.

And I guess that the mode with fluff is without the chamber and that the fluffless mode is with the chamber, correct?

GP PAPS v4

A major part of the vaping experience is about aesthetics, which is a highly controversial and subjective matter. Many people love busy surfaces with lines, motifs and engravings, while a lot of others prefer pure geometries and clean spaces. However both sides hate gaps and seams. Based on feedback from version 2.5 and version 3, we introduce in the version 4 of GP PAPS some changes. As you know from version 3, the GPin applies a constant force to the battery and it is faster to change battery from the top part of the mod than the switch, especially when you have a Heron with a 201 connection on it. In that way you don't need to pay attention to the locking ring's position and eliminate any possibility to leave a small gap between the switch base and the tube due to inadequate tightening.

We have designed a new feature for the GP PAPS v4. Once you screw the switch, the locking ring cannot accidentally stick due to over-tightening, because the switch doesn't open anymore, unless we loosen the negative screw from the top with a screwdriver. The switch can be pressed, can be locked-unlocked, but we won't be able to unscrew it from the bottom, only from above as I described earlier. Faster change of battery and no gaps, no additional seams.

I will post about when we finish with a few small changes inside the chamber, it is pretty easy to get the wick through the holes, no worries :)

You guessed well, this the way we designed it.

With fluff we have a slower refill, but better taste in my opinion. With Spheroid v4 both options will be available plus AFC and hybrid connection with the Piccolo. Thank you for the photo :)

For high speed refill of Spheroid: I recommend 1oz bottles for "Grandfather's clock oil" and 1/16 inch needle (Luer lock system), this size Boba`s proof ;-)

Well if its Boba’s proof, then the needle must be good enough. I use similar bottles. Needle not as long so a slower fill time to allow to sink from bottom up

The new switch does look sweet but i was hoping it could be used on other 20x1 threaded devices. From the description that doesn't look to be the case.

Someone asked on another forum if the new switch will fit the v3 and Perseas stated: "Yes, it will be compatible with all the previous versions and the new feature of the switch will work with them as well."

That means that the new GP Paps v4 switch is 20x1 threaded like in previous releases.

Thank you and Firestorm is right, the v4 switch has 20x1 mm calibrated threads, keeping compatibility with previous versions.

Been Very quiet indeed. Been insanely busy at work and in gardens. And been toying around with the beta of the new OS X and iOS9 with what little time I did have.

I don’t think I remember a time that looking forward to a weekend more than the one coming

I was thinking I'd give IOS9 a shot this weekend, any impressions so far?

Good to see some new GP gear is in the works to revitalize this old haunt/sales. Still consider them the best tube mods I've ever owned, mech or regulated.

Been some serious extreme weather issues for some of you, so I hope you are all well and your life is good.

I am still greatly enjoying the vaping, have been busy as hell with a new project, prepping for a quest. Three or four pots of coffee keeps me going close to 24 hours a day, but every couple of months I do crash for up to 2 days. It all comes out good in the wash though, so just doing a Rip Van Winkle impersonation sometimes. Have become a denizen of the night as far as the outside world goes, the wee hours the best hours, and I rarely venture out any other time. Easy to get away with though when you live in a 24/7/365 city that much of never sleeps.

All my GP gear has gone the way of all that came before them and are not used anymore. With 21 Reos, around 50 BF atty's for them now I've found that being a bottom feeder can in fact be a really great thing. The 4 new Mech Woodies running Nuppin's are my favorite mods of all of those I've ever used, and 2 more will be made out of my exhibition grade woods. My joose usage is 30+ ml a day, so I maintain/rotate a stock of around 7000 ml's in cold storage. Easier to do since I cut back from running dozens of jooses to only using 10-12 now. So a lot of joose found it's way to the trash, more gear will as well.

Back at it... have a great summer.

1 Mini OG, 4 Mini 2.1, 4 LP Grand, 2 LP/SL Grands, OVV Grand; Woodvil's: 2 14500, 1 18490, 2 18650, 4 Mech 18650. 6 Nuppin', 6 Chalice, 2 VA Cyclone, 2 Hornet, endless others.

Well its up and down so far. Odd behavior for me is battery drops like a stone for the first half of the day. Then the rest of the day is actually improved. Cant find out why yet.
It does learn some of your behaviour. it knows what time I should be leaving for work and immediately lets me know the time expected on the road.
The Siri suggest apps? Not sure if it hasn’t been enough time but each app that’s on there is an app I don’t even use. Go figure.
The switcher is nice. It stacks it so you barely have to move to switch or close the apps.

It def is geared more for learning your actions and I see improvements. Just a few things I cant put my finger on yet. If you need I have some slots open. If anyone wants to dare try it.
