Didn't try the topper cap though. Don't need it. I'm a fluff lover. The dense and saturated vapour it gives you is unbeatable.
Hehe.. next-day delivery in my country. Received it, inspected it, washed it, built it, vaped it, and.. it's crazy good!!![]()

I really don't get that. Once you know the amount of fluff for the liquid it will never fail. And it tells you when to refill way before you really need to, which is great.. I never had a dry hit. IMO the extra top cap is always a bit of a hassle to get it right.I do the same, I love the fluff, but it seems we are a minority![]()
Hello to everyone and hope everyone is well!! I need a little help......the switch on my Paps X does not fire consistently. What I mean is that I have to press it very hard to get a full fire or sometimes it just half fires. Sometimes, if I press the switch repeatedly really fast, it helps to soften the amount of pressure needed to get a full fire!! I am using a dripper so it is easy to recognize a hard hit and a soft hit, any suggestions?? However, at times it works flawlessly as it did when I first got it.
Thanks for any feedback

Thank you all for the replies!! Yes, the switch is very clean and I backed the square nut out a couple of turns and it seems to be firing precisely at the moment. I will see as the day goes on! I may have forgotten to loosen the nut when I reassembled as most parts are to be snug!!Hello buddy
I have the same question with Sedge, have you cleaned recently? Remember during assembling NOT to screw the square locking nut all the way down, leave 0,5-1 mm protruding off the switch housing (1-2 threads), before you place the button and the negative post.

Can we still use the fluff with the topper in the new Heron?
I know many people prefer it without the topper, but I like using it in my v1 a lot to keep the kgd wicks from flopping about.
I also plan on using the fluff while traveling because it isn't affected by air pressure changes (which I'm assuming is an issue while running fluff less). Not having to worry about leaks on a plane us one if the things that makes it my go to atty.
Hi John,Hank, how are ya?
My guess is your spring is binding. The spring fits snugly in the recess in the switch body and to the switch button itself. The spring may be slightly out of round which can exacerbate the binding. As suggested; a good cleaning is the first thing. You can also change out the spring for the spare that was provided with the PAPS X originally. I can always tell when it is an issue for me when I unlock the switch and it "springs" back a bit from fully unlocked. I then take it apart and just fiddle with the spring a bit until it doesn't bind.
My HnP is stateside! Should be delivered tomorrow!!!
Howdy peeps! Long time no see. I'm still alive and kicking it as usual. Life continues to occupy most of my time. Miss you guys (and ladies)!!
