Ditto! Poor young man. He lost his ULTEM! Maybe ? help the Professor out and send him two. Assume he will loose another one.

Just joking with you......................

My vape drawers overflow and I've only been at it for around three years.:)
Hahaha! But seriously, it's been two weeks plus that I am searching that cute li'l tube. I've turned my house upside down, employed both my kids to it, Nope -- nada, it can't be found :(

Lucky that I did one 'unboxing' shoot of it the moment I received it.

Guys I notice in Qs videos that his airslot is almost directly in front of his coil, mines on the back side away from the coil... Would this make a difference in wicking?

Though with the verticle coil it wicking perfectly... And I am getting more airflow... Is that airslot on the wrong side though?
I think gp designed the air slot to be under the coil. I'm very surprised you get more airflow away from coil. Not sure. But it's interesting you chose to build it that way.

The way I build it if the air wasn't under the Hnp would be u touchable for like ten minutes after a "hotboxing"

Hello my GP Family.. I saw my name mentioned. So very cool. Being thought of, how very nice! Yes, I have been a bit stressed with the political environment. It's nuts out there! I am not 'pro' anyone. But, I get so frustrated with people intentionally trying to prevent the process from playing out as it should. Makes a person think, we have absolutely no input to the process. That makes me sad.

Again.. Thanks for thinking about me! That makes me smile. Sending you all love and smiles. :)

It's Ok. Some of the Heron V2s don't have their AFC slot in line with the posts - and it doesn't matter. B'coz air is fed to the coil thru the base's airhole which has a catch-cup underneath.

Thus no matter which direction the AFC slots is it still feeds into the same catch-cup. so relax, you've no issues to worry.

I don't choose to build that way that's the way my heron is.. And it does get hot when I chain vape and until I just switched to a verticle coil I couldn't for the life of me get this atty to wick properly. Interesting that you say it doesn't matter Q because it's definatly seems to made a difference getting more air in there.. Anyway it's wicking perfectly now with the verticle coil. Thanks for the vid Q

Just got my Spheroid V4. Its a very well made atty and I like the look and design of it.. It's my first build so I still have to get the hang of it. Right now it doesn't seem to give as good of a flavor as the V2 I own. When I vape it crackles alot I am guessing because its not getting enough wicking. I usually found that using more cotton on the V2 works better, maybe the v4 is the opposite and i should put less .. Not sure. Do you guys cut your cotton first than put the slotted cap on .. or do you put the slotted cap on than trim your cotton.. I tried both ways.. cutting the cotton first i probably messed up and it flooded.. the second way it didn't flood but the taste is muted.. This juice im using kind of sucks.. so any imperfection in flavor is noticeable.

I cut it first and then place the chamber cap. But I tell others to cut it later (after the cap) b'coz it's easier that way.

Now, Spheroid V4 usually is a very quiet atty. It'd crackle and pop (like most atties) if the wick inside the coil is feeble.

I also find that many take the adage "less is more" a bit too far with cotton. Pls ensure that while placing your cotton there's a slight resistance. It shouldn't be freely moving. You can get away with that using high VG. But anything less than 50:50, nana!

I don't run ECF now days, just signed in to send a private message and say hello to any still here I knew. All is good, another year older with a 50 year high school reunion looming if I survive another. Shame on me but I have dove into regulated box mods a little, the guy who once said he'd never do regulated again after dealing with ProVape. Never say never.

Hope all is going well here for everyone. Vape on....

will keep that in mind qorax.. The cotton i put in was pretty stiff inside the coil.. I just have to play around with it.. I get what you mean because my spheroid v2 is very quite... Im gonna try the mesh too... I probably won't be able to do that one at all

actually looking at it more closely... I think its a bad idea to put the cap on top of the wicks than trim them because the hole is real small and its essentially choking your cotton, that is why I was getting that problem. I think its better to cut the wicks real short and have it spread out on the bottom up against the hole absorbing. I rather follow your way till i get it right cause you know what you are doing Qorax.. I already see the benefit of how you are doing things.

An "If you could take only one mod on a desert island ..." thread was started recently on the Aussie vapers forum. After 2 1/2 years, and despite delving heavily into some beautiful squonkers, my answer is still "My GP Paps-X".

So I just wanted to say thanks again to Perseas and the crew :D

Hello everyone. A few new faces so welcome to the greatest show on earth.

I changed jobs last September and never realized exactly the amount of work that would keep me busy steadily. And garden season is most definitely going to start to take up much of my outdoor time. I never realized that moving from systems administration to information security would increase the work load. But it was a move that I have waited years for.

I'm thankful to GP/Perseas every day. Even when I don’t give the GP gear the cleaning it needs longer than I would typically go, they slam in performance.
