Yes, upside down is the way.

It is actually the silicone cap set in the ceramic cup on the CE2's that make you get dry hits.

If you put it upside down, this will allow liquid to get to the coil, rather than you having to wait
for it to wick.

Also, if you line up the wicks to top and bottom,,, everytime you take a drag, the coil will re-wet.

No, I believe he means that as you take a drag, and are holding the e-cig horizontally to your mouth, if one of the two wicks is facing straight down, and one facing straight up, it will draw the liquid right on top of one of the wicks (the bottom one specifically), right to the edge of the cup.

Its not crucial to line it up like that, just helps a little.

When the juice level gets low, it also helps to just turn it upside down (and I kinda roll it around at the same time) to really draw the last bits of liquid up to the top of the wicks.

Ok, I got it. It makes sense now.

I was already doing that anyway. DUH!

Thank you!

Got my new GP-SSR in the mail today. Cut down an R4 E2 and screwed it into SSR, screwed the converter onto the assembled SSR, filled the tube with my usual Cinnamon Ceylon 50/50 juice, placed the top cap on and inserted the DT. Tipped it and rolled it around awhile to ensure the wick was saturated and juice to the coil. First impressions. . .not very impressed with it. Not sure if it's the converter or what. I'm using my ProVari. I'm experiencing a very very hard draw. Other converters I've used I've been able to adjust for a tight draw by unscrewing the bottom terminal, or just pulling it down some with a paper clip. This converter doesn't appear to allow any adjustment. It's working, but my you know what is starting to pucker. I wish this thing came available in native 510 threads. JHMO

Cheers,

otrpu,

The adapter/converter is adjustable on the top side, where the SSR connects to.
It has a flat head screw type there, that you unscrew a bit if necessary.

If that doesnt work, then you can try to screw the adapter/converter to the provari first,
and then screw the SSR onto the adapter/converter.
OR, you can get a different (probably tighter) draw if you screw the adapter/converter
to the SSR first, then onto the provari/battery.

The SSR is designed to use the adapter so you can adjust airflow.
Without it, you cant.

This is what makes the GP-SSR so much better than the MAP tank.

Along with the easy to change out CE2's

And being able to use clear or steel CE2's.

The GP-SSR Rocks!

Thanks Rob.

Edit to add:

With the GP-SSR I can pick it up from the tank and not have to worry about it falling apart, with the MAP tank I felt if I picked it up from the tank it would slip off of the O-Ring and fall apart.

The MAP tank has its good points too, But due to the airy draw I prefer the GP-SSR, it has that perfect draw and it awesome!

It might be cheaper to go with a 901 extension.

I am not positive, but madvapes may have some, and also the shorty- forget the actual name.

EDIT --- Ohhh shoot, maybe a 901 to 808? Do you have one of those lying around?

2nd EDIT, madvapes only has the 510 shorty.

I would say the 901-808 should work, hmm.
