I love my local one... They have a juice I can't live without!

There's one up here in Spring that has a pretty large selection of 'Premium' juices. I've been there a few times, but that was around a year ago when they first opened. They didn't have many mods or atomizers, and definitely nothing new or fancy. Maybe things have changed since they've been around a while. Maybe next time I'm over on Cypresswood again I'll check 'em out and see what's up. I know I called them a few months ago because I was looking for Titanium wire locally and they didn't have any. No one did. I ended up ordering a couple of 100' spools online because I couldn't find it anywhere around here.

Mine makes their own juices...so it's the only place I can get this one flavor. I try and ration it when I get it...lol

so are these ceramic wick? they still have nickel wire and kanthal wire wound around a ceramic core? is that what these are? just trying to get a better understanding of these coils.
The wire is the center of the coil...it basically sets in a groove in the ceramic body.

Found this pic in a Google search. Might help you to visualize what we're talking about here.
As Red stated, the ceramic is outside of the coil. The coil is orientated in a 'chimney' configuration. Outside of the ceramic is a cotton pad that is used to hold juice and control flow to prevent leakage. It really is an ingenious design and works wonderfully. Yes, they have them available with nickel and kanthal. They are also working on stainless steel coils, I believe. I really wish that they'd build some with about .3 ohms with titanium wire, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Thanks for asking the question, MadVLN. As you can probably tell, those of us who have them and use them are quite passionate about them. Personally, I wouldn't bother with the nickel cCells... but the kanthal coils work beautifully! If you have any other questions or concerns then please ask, bring up your concerns, but most importantly... give them a try. I think you'll enjoy and appreciate the performance of them.

I know exactly what you mean. I'm the same way with Teleos Cloud Science Alpha... it's pretty expensive, so I relish it when I actually have it. I need to get some more because it's been a long time since I've bought any... that is good stuff right there!

When I start DIY, I'm gonna be working on a clone of that ONE juice.....lol

Yeah, I haven't quite nailed down the Alpha yet... I keep trying though. :( That one is my freakin' unicorn...

What is this mystical juice that you're so in love with?
It's called "Tahitian Dream"... I know the flavors in it, will just have to figure out percentages. It's pineapple, coconut, banana, strawberry and cotton candy.

Sounds pretty awesome... except for the banana. I just can't tolerate banana anything. Wonder how it would be if the banana were replaced with mango or something else. Hmmmm... maybe I need to order a few new flavors and play around with some more new recipes!

Definitely give it a try. There are a bunch of different tanks that are compatible with the cCell coils, so you may be able to try the coil without having to buy any new gear. If you have any of these then just pick up a pack of coil heads and give 'em a shot:
Melo 2
iJust 2
Atlantis
Atlantis V2
Herakles
Heatvape Ecotank
AnyVape Fury Tank
AnyVape Fury Tank 2
Triton V1

Of course, I'd still pick up one of the Target mods, because I just love the look and feel of them, but at least that'd give you the chance to experience the coil without a lot of expense.

Yeah... let's just say that when I went to the different recruiters the Army didn't have much to offer. They needed people in Motorpool and and Infantry... that's where they wanted to stick me. The Navy offered Aviation Electronics or Nuclear Power Technician (working on nuclear reactors). I opted for Aviation Electronics (larger post-service job market and the added bonus of not glowing in the dark for the rest of my life. It was either that or be a grease-monkey or crawl around in the mud with a rifle and a pack that weighs more than I do... no thanks!

That sounds awesome! I always wanted to go to Okinawa... never made it there though. Very cool that your son and his buddy get to spend some time together after enlisting! Especially since they are in different branches. Usually there isn't a lot of opportunity to socialize outside of the branch you're in. We had some Air Force personnel on the base where I went to school in Millington, TN. But we hated them and they hated us, so... lol.

I still haven't used a calculator for anything. Usually I absolutely suck at math, but it's been pretty easy doing the conversions for mixing. I even make up my ADV juices a quart at a time. I should probably take a page out of your book though and stock up on some nic. Last year and this year I only bought 250mL of 100 mg from wizardlabs. I went through the whole 250mL last year and ran out last month. I figure if all I gotta do is buy one bottle a year, then I'm good. But I should probably buy a couple extra and stick 'em in the freezer 'just in case'.

I'm a little baffled by my latest two mixes. I usually don't bother much with steeping, but those two kinda sucked for the first few days. They seem to be getting better now though. Maybe the will benefit from a week or two of steeping. I think I'll mix up another 30mL batch of each and just let them set and try them in a couple of weeks. If that's all it takes to make them good, then I wouldn't have to do much tweaking. Let me know how those King Cake and Apple Muffin recipes go, those sound pretty awesome too! My dad used to buy me a King Cake for my birthday every year when he worked out of Louisiana... the ones that I can get here in Texas now just aren't as good. :(
Welllll, the apple muffin one is...gone. :D I never did give it time to steep, but this last tank is about a week or so after I mixed it, and I just changed cCells, so OM NOM NOMMMM. It's pretty darn delicious. I might add a little sweetener to the next batch, or possibly go a little heavier on the custard just to take the little bit of bite there is out of it, but steeping might do that for me without the tweaking. The world may never know... :D I actually got me an US cleaner yesterday and since I have to mix up a batch of the apple muffin juice anyooo I am going to rapid steep it when I make it tomorrow. That way I will know whether it needs a lil something something else or not and I can make the tweak immediately. There is no. way. I will be able to wait 2 weeks for an actual steep. I am worthless and weak that way. Besides, NEW CCELL!!! :D

I had my heart set on being a Marine...but I have a really bad temper and I hold grudges...lol...after I took the ASVAB, I got a call from a Marine recruiter who accuses me of cheating "because girls don't score that high". REALLY????? Army recruiter called the next day and basically kisses my ..... Yeah, Army won!
LOL! Austin chose the Marines because they promised not to make him a "bullet sponge." He scored a 98 on the ASVAB.

Yeah, me too. Terrible eyesight. Well, that and I don't/didn't have a degree... that was required to be a pilot (or even to be an officer... I was a lowly enlisted guy).
Hay! Nothing wrong with being enlisted! My dad retired Sr. Msgt. in the Air Force! :D

I agree! There are a lot of people who would make excellent Aviators if only they weren't disqualified because of less-than-perfect eyesight!
My brother was disqualified because he had had an ear surgery when he was 5, even though his hearing tested perfect. Go figure. :p Now that he is in his mid-40s, though, he does have some hearing loss, so it's probably a good thing he didn't become a pilot, but I was sad for him when they disqualified him. He turned out pretty okay anyway, though, so it was their loss. :D

The design of this unit looks interesting. Too bad they didn't follow it up with 2 and 3 battery designs. I've been to their site and the 200W model does not look as snappy as this mod.
The Tarot? It's just a Basic Box, lol. Still, moar powerrrrr. :D

Yeah, I'm not too sure that the form of the Target mod would be conducive to a multi-battery design. Adding batteries and trying to stay with the same overall design would just become bulky and awkward. Personally, I'm kinda glad that they stuck with a single battery set-up for this mod. I'm not a huge fan of multiple batteries as I get all of the performance I need with just one. Sure, more battery life would be nice, but it's so easy to change the battery out with the magnetic door. Also, with VTC5s I get two tanks per battery so it works out really well for me.
aaaand, you can charge via usb! I do both kinds of charging, so it works out really well for me. It isn't a power hog, so, like you said, even changing out batteries is NBD. :)
