i came across this on another forum-they seem pretty excited by it in europe.its a new ecig which has a disposable atomiser which is prefilled with liquid-i dont know how its delivered without flooding the atomiser, but it is.its supposed to yield the equivalent of 20 cigarettes(heard that one before).you throw the atomiser away after use and put in a fresh one(might help ratindahats atomiser problems ;) ),and theres no cartridges.eliminates liquid on hands or in mouth because the liquid is sealed in the atomiser.as well as that,it comes in an box similar to the E-pack from e-cig .com...except this one apparently actually works-put cig in box, battery in box charges cig-you all know the drill....battery life in the box is good for up to 3 days between charges, they say.should be available from european sellers in july.now the down side--i think its gonna be expensive...im looking forward to the reviews tho,its something different at least.

I wrote here early on -- and still believe it -- that the future of e-smoking is disposable cigs and cigars. They need to achieve parity in price with tobacco products and feature total ease of use. Smoke it and toss it. In the meantime, the average consumer will not go through the dances we do to take 'em apart, fill 'em, charge 'em, stock replacement parts, etc. As these are presently used, we could only hope for a sub-culture of users similar in number and passion to pipe smokers.

As Trog observed, the Ruyan disposable cigar is 10 times the price it must be. You can make money by selling one item at inflated value, or many items at lesser profit margin but greater overall revenue. That's the route e-smoking must take.

Mass production will bring prices down. When the line levels off at the present cost of a pack of cigarettes, this technology will take off. Until then .. enjoy being an early adopter.

Do you have a link?

yes,i remember reading your post, and i agree-people want hassle free products-far too much mucking around with these things presently for them to catch on in a big way,and too expensive.i think an atomiser/cartridge is going to sell for 2.25 euros, which isnt too bad at all-providing it performs as they claim(in the ballpark anyway)-cheaper than an njoy cartridge i think, although im not sure what the euro/dollar rate is currently...however they are selling the actual device for 140-189euro!i guess it depends how many atomiser/cartridges you want with it,or else they havnt worked out the pricing yet..there seems to be some hope tho that it may come down in price a bit..who knows..at least its a step, albeit an expensive one,in an interesting direction..the link isnt playing ball with me,it says the page doesnt exist!i'll keep trying tho, dont worry.

A lot of distributors in China have it available for resellers. Maybe somebody in the states will give it a shot. But hopefully it won't be at that starter kit extortion fee. I agree with TB. They should concentrate their efforts on making the device affordable and getting us with the atomizers. You sure you don't wanna sell it TB?

well id wait until a few reviews come in before doing anything hasty-noone knows anything about how they perform yet(although greencig seem reputable).i think there was a bit of a backlash about the price of the kit in europe,so it could very well come down a bit, although a seller said he would be selling it for 189 euro, but that included 40 atomiser/cartridges.i think the G300 has been tweaked a little.anyway, theyll be out in europe in 3-4 weeks or so hopefully.then we'll know where we stand.by the way, they come in 3 flavours so far-mint,flue cure oriental and western taste(whatever that is)...

for the general public i think lower entry cost with a higher sustained cost is nice. I prefer to pay upfront and then have a much cheaper monthly expense.

Look at pipe smokers, many of them have very nice, expensive pipes, but the tobacco is cheap in comparison.

i'll talk to a few of the US distributors/sellers that i know and see if anyone knows anything,

Somebody is going to eventually have to take the plunge in order to get reviews. Personally, I'd rather read a review here and know it's from a poster that I'm familiar with...rather than read it on the product website and wonder whether it's the owner impersonating "Carl from Kansas."

i agree completely. we should start a review pool. Here is my thought. if people get interested in an item, we all pitch in a few bucks to help the reviewer with the cost of the item. with the number of members, 5 bucks from a couple would cover the cost of almost any cig.

What do you guys think?

hmm.. thinking maybe a new thread in the review section should be set up. Guess we need someone to run the collection, and decisions. I have no problem doing reviews since i am so good at getting devices to fail. And i make videos. :D

but if anyone else wants to do it, i'm sure that could be alright as well. I'll set up a poll in this part of the forum and see if people are interested.

edit: i'm not seeing how to set up a poll on here.
