Would it be sacrilege to mod the thurible?
Cause ya know, this one's an e-thurible, and halfway there.

Oh my. It would be nice if the product listing indicated what was electronic about it. I wonder... Does it have an electric lighter? Is it vaporizing some Holy liquid? Or perhaps what we see isn't smoke or vapor at all, but a hologram (holy gram?) of myst like the DVDs of fireplaces. Hmmm... I suppose there wouldn't be anything sacrilegious in modded it, but with all the vapor escaping it doesn't look like you'd get much theology hit from it.

Yes, I'm going to Hell. Why do people who obviously hate everything I believe in give a flying fruit bat?

What an interesting site.

Digital Organist

I'm sorry Jane. I know you have been the Church organist for over 20 years, but your service to The Lord has been made redundant. We must move forward with the times. We wouldn't want Our Savior to feel we have been less than diligent in spreading our message to the world. Have you seen our new website? Please Jane, don't cry. Perhaps you can be repurposed as a bell-ringer at Christmas - oh oops! Sorry. Digital Bell Controls. Perhaps you should just sit quietly in the less attractive people we don't want shown in the webcast section and contemplate why The Son of God has singled you out to have your faith tested. It's really a gift you know. I'm sure you will get extra points for suffering and it might move you up on the waiting list for the Estate of Grace Retirement Village.

ordering mine tonight! Had to save a little more to ensure I could get a charger, batteries, an extender cap, IBTanked tank, HH.357, Protank II, Provari will be in black with a blue LED which I'm most excited for. ^_^ I'm officially going to be broke lol. I know it will be worth it. :D

I went for the same colour / led combo, but only after asking to look at a red one and a blue one first. I was too impatient to get one in the post so made a 100 mile round trip to go pick one up :)

On the subject of thuribles, on account of me being non-religious would a thimble be an acceptable substitute?

On account of you being a foreign person (although, I must say your English appears passably good!) you may pass a steaming cup Darjeeling over the Sacred One, but only in a Royal Albert Bone China Cup (preferably the White Roses pattern) and you absolutely must not extend your pinky at any time during the ritual. It makes one look like a twit.

As luck would have it, i do indeed possess a Royal Albert Bone China Cup or something so remarkably like one as to make negligible difference to the forthcoming ceremony. However, i loathe tea so it's either coffee or a lemon & honey cold remedy?

One will indeed take great care to ensure that one's pinky does not extend at any point during said ritual, unless of course i suffer some kind of involuntary muscle spasm. On the admittedly miniscule possibility that this should happen, should one re-commence the ritual, or proceed whilst exhibiting further caution in anticipation of a repeat occurrence?

It's always been my understanding that the thurible was optional.

But maybe no one wanted to correct me....

Actually the use of a thurible to incense The Most Venerated of Variable Voltage is an important part of the Ritual of Arrival. Do you not recall the Novitiate who blasphemed our Blessed One by claiming it arrived with a strange order, and then when I chastised him for not reading the Sacred Text of Manual to prepare, reported me to the guardians?

How could I have forgotten the chastised novice guardian affair? Sometimes I can be rather thick. This mane of mine, you know...

Sure, it looks stunning, and the lionesses do love it, but sometimes I think it overheats my brain.

I suppose coffee will have to do, but you should begin the Ritual by emphasizing that you are even more humbled than required for offering such a common substitute. Regarding any spasm or fit you might have, The ProVari understands human weaknesses, although you may want to scourge yourself with Kanthal before continuing to be on the safe side.

Also, one wishes to enquire as to whether it would be deemed acceptable to display the 'all seeing eye' within one's signature? I shall of course, follow any guidance offered in this regard and will refrain from placing it within my signature until such time as is seen appropriate.

Absolutely! The ProVarinati must show to the world we are united and unafraid of they harassment. I shall PM you a high res Crest.

Many Thanks! and rest assured that i will spread the word throughout the United Kingdom, although only to those who are at such a stage in their vaping journeys as to be prepared for the holiest of holy.

What an interesting site.

Digital Organist

THIS I find offensive.
Not in a religious way, but because of the "true sound of a pipe organ" statement.
NO WAY. Sorry. That box isn't going to sound like a pipe organ any more than burning dried leaves is going to taste like my homemade RY4. I've MET people who spend substantial portions of their lives restoring pipe organs. My sister plays the occasional pipe organ (she's dabbled in campanology too).

I see pride plays an important part in this provarinati business! ;)

I just noticed retired1 has posted a thread about the logos... I'll take a look at that...

Regarding the ProVarinati sigil; when would be the appropriate time to put the mark upon my signature? The pilgrims that are following the Provari to my place of worship have stated in digital for that it shall be here tomorrow and that the ceremony of fog may commence.
