Good morning,

I've read some rather disturbing news on this topic, if this happens then it will be a gateway to other states doing this as well. I'd like to get you'll take on this one and if there is anything we as a whole can do to maybe help prevent this...

Also is this confirmed or nothing more then a scare tactic letter? Couldn't actually source a date or originating authority document on it.

We can go to Colorado or Washington and smoke "other stuff" & we can go to the grocery store & buy cigarettes & booze anytime. We're told to give our children amphetamine-like medicine instead of teaching them self-control. But God forbid, adults might suck in some vapor or drink too much soda.
Wake up America!!!

PS. Should we break the link on that so it doesn't get lots of google-time?

i can see lots of states doing this, considering the amount of money they will loose from the loss of tax's from tobacco sales, ecigs have the real possibility of wiping out smoking all together.

the government already proved that they value money over public heath when instead of banning cigarets when found to cause cancer they decided to make money off them themselves.

The New York Assembly is not in session (the legislative session does not start until Jan 14), so this vote cannot be breaking news. There's no date on it, but it's likely referring to a bill approved by the NY Assembly (the lower legislative house) in 2010 that died in the NY Senate. Since then, NY has banned e-cig sales to minors. That took effect last week.

We'd joke back in the 80s: "Welcome to California, now go home."... It seems this has become very true in many respects out here as well. Not quite as bad as NY, but we're getting there :(

Very true I enjoy when I work in Cal lots of great things to do and see great people but a prime example of over legislation

I saw this after it was edited, but wanted to say I vaped all over NYC and nobody said a thing - I had lots of people coming up to me, including police, wanting to know how it was and where I got my PV.

I did see on here, someone got a ticket for vaping in the subways, laws are weird, they keep making them, but few of the people infocreing them know them.

If there is no law against it, then it's not illegal. NY (and even more so NYC) are slow with making laws, if anything we have to be more concerned with federal laws.
