Hate to be a downer but it's just a matter of time before Uncle Sam comes for us. They'll vilify vapers, start banning public use, and more importantly, start taxing us to death just like analogs. Tax revenue isn't just going to disappear as tobacco sales fall. I hope I'm wrong but we will be heavily taxed somewhere down the road and lumped in with those "evil" analog smokes.

Massachusetts has 43 cities that has banned ecigs, either sales to minors or public vaping in resturants, bars, libraries, and other public places etc..Boston is one of them....I know I got stopped at Fenway and Boston Works pub across the street and a few local resturants there..and also in Western Mass too, there are 4 towns with bans, but most are in Eastern Massachusetts.....these odinances are implemented by the local board of healths usually and approved by city councils...but some cities on that list of 43 don't enforce the law there...but it is on the books and enforced at many places..

U may want to read the Legislation News forums here for more info..

Sorry to hear that szot. I hope your visit wasn't a bad experience overall especially in and around Kenmore Square (Fenway). Sadly, there are too many zealots that think they know what's best for you and will pass legislation to take away your rights. I am born and raised here but ashamed at how Taxachusetts has turned into one of the most corrupt states in the union and taxes us at will. We just recently had another dollar added to our cigarette tax and no one seems to care. IMHO I think it's because they have made smokers out to be evil and thus easy to take away your rights and certainly your hard earned money. The same old scum keep getting voted in time and time again.

There are good, people up here that still believe in personal liberty though. We're just a dying breed and sadly this American cancer seems to be spreading across the nation.

Boston..I visit Boston all the time, least every 2 weeks or so, when I'm not in Florida...I love Boston..best big city in America...I don't mind not vaping at Fenway, or the Celtic or Bruins games...no biggie..and many Boston restuarants and pubs don't care either..I raise hell and do what I want unless management grabs me...and actually I love Massachusetts too...no state is perfect and some laws were meant to be ignored....I have a few buds who are state senators and reps but I prefer when John Thompson and Whitey Bulger ran the state..kept the common people happy and didn't play that reelection and politics game..
