Converted anyone? No. I'm not really a preachy person. I have a coworker/pretty good friend, however, who will occasionally use my vape, if she doesn't have any cigarettes. She doesn't seem to be picking up vaping, and I'm okay with that. We make our own choices. She always wants to try my new flavors though lol.

I convinced my mother to try it too. She didn't like it. Bummer, but it is what it is.

Tried the same with my dad. He did like it though, problem is he lives in South America and you can't find quality stuff there. Everything has to be ordered and stocked, but he can't use the internet if I paid him!

A couple of friends are giving vaping a try, just have to see how it goes. the coolest one though goes something like this....A couple of months ago I got sick some bug that was going round. Went to see my doctor and took my e-cig with me as I always do. He had been on me to quit smoking for quite awhile ( like any good doc would ) so I show him my e-cig, long story short his mother-in-law is now a vaper.

I quit tobacco on May 4th, had been smoking ~1.5 packs/day for 10 years or so, I had started vaping a few weeks earlier. 2-3 people in my apartment building have noticed my kicking the habit with these electronic cigarettes and subsequently bought the same starter kit that I began with (510-T). A few others at work too. I know one has successfully and fully converted to vaping. Another has gotten his mother a kit and apparantly she has inticed some of her friends. So I have not really done any converting... people see me walking around Philly or notice my absence from various smoking patios and inquire. I was thinking though, I should probably look into some kind of commission system (haha). At the very least, invest

I tried to get my FIL interested. If he had shown the slightest interest I would have gone out and bought him a nice kit and some juices, but he is a stubborn old fart (I say that with love).

I thought I had made a convert two days ago. I stopped at a garage sale and was vaping next to a guy who was smoking. He was VERY interested and when I told him I could give him more information he jumped at the chance. I wrote down directions for how to find ecf and a couple of good starter kits. He really liked my provari, so I gave him some info on that too. He didn't seem daunted by the price at all.

He got my email address and told me he might want to chat about e-cigs, and would that be okay? I said sure, and he gave me his email too so I'd know who was wanting to chat.

When I got home I wrote up a nice email with links to ecf newb board, and a couple of links to good starter kits. Haven't heard back from him yet :( I'm still hoping he will show up here for some advice.

May the Fourth be with us. That was my switch date as well.

I was talking with one of my nonsmoking coworkers today, her husband smokes. She's listening to everything I have to say. I think she's going to try a Walmart/Gas Station model for him to see if the concept works for him. We're all on a limited budget around work these days, so probably better for her to try him on a fairly inexpensive model to see if it will be worth it to invest in something more involving. But ever since I switched, more people I work with (especially the smokers) are paying attention.

From the moment I took my first pull on an E-cig I knew it was going to be life changing for me. Once I found that the Joyetech products worked for me I stuck with it. I believe in it so much that I had to get into re-selling it. Once i got my first Inventory order in, I felt the need to pass out starter kits to my nearest and dearest. Now, all my friends that smoked now vape. It's a beautiful thing...I feel very proud to have helped my friends increase their life span.

This is the only physical store that I know of. Nice guy. Currently using an eGo-C I bought from him as well as a DCT. You can see what he stocks on his site. If it shows out of stock, then it's probably not in the store either. And he carries about 30 flavors of Made in the USA High Caliber.

Orlando Electronic Cigarette Location

Thanks HawkeyeFLA! We'll plan a stop on our visit to Orlando.

The title is pretty self explanitory. Have you converted anyone from smoking cigarettes to the wonderful world of personal vaporizers?

QUOTE]

I am on my third attempt to convert friends/family. The first attempt failed. the second is my brother who is in a critical stage so i hope that works out. I gifted kits to both of them. the third is a business client who i am gathering info for so he can buy his own starter kit.

I started vaping in January, and got transferred to a new office in March. Went on smoke breaks with the other 2 women that smoked, bot are now happily vaping away. When 2 of the guys saw such great success they started vaping also. We had another woman move to our office, within a week we had her vaping. There is only one smoker left at my company (cigar smoker) says if everyone stays off of cigarettes for 6 months he will try it too.

It has now moved into the homes of the people I work with who have converted their husbands and the husbands are converting people at their jobs.
