I am hoping DH and I can manage an adults only trip next Feb for our 20th anniversary. Would love to check out a little of the night life in Playa.

They have a nightlife?! I've only traveled to Mexico after Chloe came along, and that means back in the Resort room after the night "Theatre show" wrapped up!

Us too Dusty. Lots of clubs to go to tho, if that's your thing. Lots of night bus tours that take you from club to club, then back to the resort after. I'd never make it that late, but a cab in/out and hitting a couple would be fun. If we go in Feb hopefully all the young crowd will be home!

Failing memory, apologies. 2011, went with my wife and another couple. Stayed at the Barcelo Maya Palace Deluxe. Partied almost every night at the resort disco, but did not venture offsite.

I never made it to the disco there, DH did tho. Cinderella must be home by midnight.

If you are planning to go again this year look into the resorts on Playacar beach.
