It was , believe me that everything that was served was the best of the best , the russian caviar that was served cost $1500 a pound back then , you can imagine what it costs now . Not unusual for that club , it's a private club for the port authorities and shipping magnates , lots of billionare members , the name comes from the Plimsoll mark on the bow of ships .
They'd have to pay me $1,500 to eat caviar. I'm just a plain person.
It ain't for me either , don't care for it and even if I did I wouldn't pay that much for it .
Never had the privilege of shaking hands with a President. Have sat motionless on the Highway in El Paso while Al Gore campaigned through in 2000, and again on I-40 near Asheville NC while Big Brother Barry campaigned in 2012. I failed to be impressed either time.

Well just got home from work..tonight I am baking cupcakes for the bridal shower on Sunday. While cupcakes are in the oven will manage to get some dinner and do some laundry. Hopefully I'll get home from work in time tomorrow to frost the cupcakes before heading to babysit Nellie for the evening (hubby will be going with me). I have a feeling I'm not going to feel like I had a weekend when Monday morning comes Hubby will leave Sunday morning for a week...going to Alaska on a fishing trip. The timing couldn't be worse, but it's the time of year for halibut and I'll survive. Next weekend I'm closing the doors Thursday night and not going back to the shop until Monday morning for anything

I'm tired of working myself. We had a retirement party for a coworker of mine who ended her 30 year career today. I thought about grabbing her by the ankles and not letting go so she could take me with her. I can't wait until I can retire. Just not sure I can afford to. But I can dream.................

long way to go to get some fish.... dont they have stores there that sell fish?
I had an avocado for supper.........It was good though.
ya right... keep tellin yourself that.... avocado is nummy.... yup... avocado is luscious... umm yea... now only how to figure what to do with the hard round thingy... BK..hubby took this trip with the same group (two brothers, friend from high school) then meeting a friend from high school that lives in Alaska in 2000. I can tell you it's been the best vacation/trip he's ever had so I'm glad he's going. At least I love everything he will bring home unlike the Elk/Deer...not really my thing except in the summer sausage or jerky form. I'll survive, at work people will just have to wait and it will all work out in the end. (As long as I don 't put any cupcakes or pizza in the washer or dryer tonight)

RJ you need more than a green mushy 3 oz serving of avocado.... or else you will end up like me !!
I over did it on the tuna and rabbit food at lunch so I was going light.
I did eat a wonderful peach though....gosh that thing was excellent!!

So I was at this seedy little bar down in Hernando, Mississippi last Saturday watching my cousin play music. And there are ashtrays at the bar, and ashtrays at every table, and everyone in there was smoking cigarettes. That was WEIRD.
After being in Philly and smoking is not allowed inside, it was weird coming here and going to karaoke. Ashtrays, smoky filled bar.... All I could think was, wow, it stinks in here LOL.
Pizza's here and taste great...big glass of milk with pizza...nothing better then I'll get back on the beer Almost done baking cupcakes there will be one more batch after what is baking now is done...actually it's gone well.
It is so enjoyable eating more fruits and veggies in the summer fresh from the garden and/or farmer's market...nothing better.

ever try the "Saturn" peaches?? they are kinda flattened looking... but they are sweet....
