Oh, man. It's one thing to read and be fascinated, and a whole other to experience in person! Have you gone to it?

Yes , several times , it is what they say it is , too many things happened there for me to go into it here other than it's intelligent and purposeful , you have to watch what you say and do there or you might get more than you bargained for .

    I love legends like that.

Tonight I watched the first episode of Orphan Black, because David mentioned liking it. I was reluctant because in Sept of last year, my ex sister-in-law (who was a friend since HS) committed suicide by train. Awful, painful stuff. And I didn't want to see a scene like that. So a few weeks ago, late at night, I hear a train whistle, louder than I ever hear them here, and I've been here over 18 years. The whistle just goes over and over and over - again, that never happens. I look out of my bathroom window, and in one of a line of trees at the edge of my property was a blue-white light emanating up through the branches, like it came from within the heart of the trunk. It just wasn't a "right" kind of light. Nothing nearby could make a light that way, shining in that direction or dissipating upwards like it did.

I have no idea what it was, or what it meant. I sure didn't go out to check though.

I would've tried but stuff like that tends to disappear when you get close . But I know exactly what you mean about the light , defies the laws of physics .

Several times. So you are crazy, brave, or a little of both. :) The name of the place sounds familiar. The thing I get from places and events like those is that there is much more around us than we can see, know, or comprehend. And that gives me hope, even though it's scary too. Like Einstein's quote about imagination being more important than knowledge because it leaves room for all that we don't know.

The Myrtles can be overwhelming , it's the whole ball of wax , poltergeist activity to the point of large pieces of furniture being tossed around , apparitions , voices from nowhere , moans and screams , heavy footsteps with no one around to make them , orbs of light everywhere , freezing cold spots outside in the middle of august , but what really scares me is the thought that people are stuck there including children , at least I'm assuming that it's human spirits haunting it because they can be kind too if you're respectful of them .

Boy do I know this story well! Last year I had to double up on a double order of low nic, low PG order. Ended up with a mega ton of juice that I'm still trying to chain vape through. Mixing the d with the new works, it's just that I had too much juice (over 2 litters)!
Been seriously thinking about trashing what's left of the old order, as it's more than a year old already.

noooo put it on the trade thread....

    Fuzzy hair and all?

That'd totally not what I'm looking for though.
Well, other than that, you might want to look into the mechs. Personally, I don't want to get caught up in them - they're too addicting. :D

But my next and last mod is going to be a REO Grand /RM2.0

ETD: needed to delete the vv after REO Grand since I just found out they don't make them any more. :(

Good afternoon everyone. Sent the wife out for some beer (Lagunitas or maybe DogFish). I had some serious foot surgery back in May, so I'll be mobile again starting next Monday or Tuesday - just in time for 4th of July. Then it's back to work after being off for 8 weeks. I'm still trying to decide if I want to keep my beard or trim it back to a goatee. The wife and kids got me an awesome Wahl trimmer for fathers day.

Just vaping some of my last HHV stuff, the stock replenishment won't arrive until Monday or Tuesday, so I'll need to dig into my strategic reserves of odd juices that I have. I made a mistake ordering 2 days late LOL! I think I need to setup an alarm or some kind of reminder just to order. Because I've been home bound for the last 7 weeks, I've been vaping HARD. It's amazing how much juice you can go through when you just sit around. One of my friends is stopping by so I think I may get drunk and test my knee-scooter skills while being intoxicated LOL!

So what's everyone's plan for the 4th? I live in the Chicago suburbs, so for the last few years, my family has been going to Arlington race track to enjoy some horse racing and then the fireworks at night. This year we may just go and do some barbecue with the in-laws since it's still hard to get around with out a chair or scooter.

    Hint, hint.

Careful you don't over do it and end up in traction or worse.

I'm the designated driver till my SIL goes back to LA. :2cool:

ROFL that is so me. Then you got to follow up with the "Well its money that I would be spending on cigarettes, I just have something to show for it" excuse.

I grew up two blocks from Arlington Park Race Track. :)

That goes back a ways...1960 - 1974...back when Secretariat ran the track.
I remember Secretariat winning quite a few races, but can't remember the last time I saw a live fireworks display - it must have been back in the early 70's or late 60's! Something I regret never taking my daughter to, even though they have them every year for the king's b-day and it's only 10 minutes away form out house! Mama Chak doesn't like traffic or crowds. :(

We did see a few bombing displays in the Navy, though. The bombs weren't bursting in air, but on old bunkers and bus wrecks and in the ocean when they had the father & son cruise from Hawaii to San Diego. Coming back from WestPac we'd stop at Hawaii and pick any fathers who flew out to meet the ship and they'd ride back with us to our home port at NAS North Island. However that hardly count as a 4th of July celebration.

But you know our motto, don't you? "Vape it till you like it." Some HHV flavors are acquired tastes, for confirmation on that, you can ask Pappy how he feels about Huntsman - at first he despised it, but now he can vape it now and again. Another one is Sludge, it's a love or hate flavor for most folks.
