Ah, yes. I can see that page. Wow. You must be a gourmet chef like Retic! Good grief. I am almost speechless!!

I'm just a food lover that likes to experiment. No professional training involved. I'd probably hate "working" with food. I enjoy it too much as a relaxation technique. :)

Happy Anniversary Mr & Mrs Dusty... Chak the homemade break looks awesome, I need to get back on using the frozen bread dough, not the same but way better than store bought bread..and it smells so good when it's baking.

I'm not into the whole baking bread from scratch and the frozen is amazingly good. The scent of it baking?

Need some dip for the bread sticks!!! My kingdom for some Ranch dressing!

8-o Ranch??!! No, you need some good marinara or red pepper-infused olive oil!

 My first thought, too!

Shoot, y'all are going to make me have to drag out my bread-making machine . . . hate having all that flour taking up space in my fridge, though!:laugh:

Time to re-order Legend and Crackberry . . . hope the P.O. actually delivers it to me (been missing my mail for the past 3 weeks!!).

facing off with arrogent people....
I was at work this morning and the people in the house were getting ready to go about their daily schedule ( I suppose), the son was pounding away on a grand piano and the father walked in and said something to the nature of practice makes perfect and it needs to be done.... the kid said something about practice ( didnt catch it ) and the father then said if you dont practice you will end up like the flunky in the kitchen installing cabinets.... unfortunately I heard that.... ( I may loose my job on this one but ...) I turned around and said " without people like me who build your pianos, your musical talents and skills would be for naught, you need us to do what you have a talent for..... " the dad was obviously floored by my comment and once he realized just what I said and sunk in.... he probably had an epiphany about the skills of "flunkies"....

That was a brilliant response BK. I am afraid the old sailor in me would have kicked into high gear. My words would have been peppered with choice four letter words. (among others)

i guess one needs to fight "fire" with "fire" ( as the saying goes).... just because Im a cabinet installer ( at the moment) does not mean I dont have an education or thought capacities..... I wonder if he plans on making any other "remarks" around us "flunkies".....
