My baby turns 15 tomorrow. They went fishing twice today-before and after the family party. Bronze- they caught 37 perch this morning and 2 catfish the second round. He got $ from everyone and plans to get a gun safe when he combines it with $ from us. Pushing them both to use birthday $ for gun safes this year.

Went to the opera this afternoon. Absolutely Brilliant - Wagner's Flying Dutchman. Very passionate and sexy, brilliant production.

Sounds exciting, never been to the opera. One of these days...
School and work cancelled for today. Too bad I had to get up to check the call/texts. It looks treacherous from my back porch-ice/sleet not snow. In 11 years I've never had the office cancel/close. I should do something productive around here today.. Or maybe I can get the birthday boy to watch a movie with me.

We've been in an absolute deep freeze here the last couple days. We seem to be slowly coming out of the -40's towards more "normal" seasonal weather. Stay warm out there!

yup because the record is in a time zone...
but wait, if that record was being played at the point of the convergence of the time zones.... and the axis of both the worlds time zones and the record were identical then.....
If it takes one second for the needle to travel around the edge of a record, how long does it take at the exact center?
