Kkay, sorry about the arthritis/ foot pain. I've got metal in my heel, tendons, and ankle in one foot and I certainly don't need the weatherman anymore when it comes to predicting rain. He says eventually if they get to be an annoyance, we can take the metal out but that surgery was the worst pain I've ever had (and that's saying a lot with two natural births, several laps, and a hysterectomy behind me). Take care of you

Oh man, we are in a tornado warning. A sheriff's deputy spotted a funnel cloud here, but it has moved off. They are still having us under the warning for a little while. I hate tornadoes!!!!

I saw a pic of the tornado on the news. It did some damage here. But I don't think there were any injuries. There is still another storm coming. After it passes by, I am going to relax.

Tonight at 8 pm, my little sweetheart Mischief aka the Durakitty, aged 22, died in my arms, We knew she was going, but nonetheless it hurts so damn much.

Aww, so sorry to hear that, Suzanne. Hang in there. She lived a full life and gave you many moments of joy - in passing, be assured that she love you and knew you were there for her all the way. {{{{hugs}}}}

There are like 4000 people without power right now, in my area. The only thing I know damaged for sure, was a nursing home. I have not heard of an injury though. I did see a photo of it, and it messed it up pretty good. There was a live feed from the news station, but it is not on now. If my lights flicker, I am getting offline. It is pretty quiet right now, I hear thunder in the distance. It was so loud it was rattling the house. I hate that. The puppy had been fine, until then. She was scared, but she is okay now. She wants to play.

Now I read there are street closures. Looks like trees were damaged, and they are clearing them. One of the areas they mentioned is about 4 minutes from me. This was downright spooky.

Hugs, Hula. I'm sorry for your loss. It was so loving of you to have her at home for her passing. She was in the arms of the one who loved her best, and that's a rare blessing.

Thank you so much all of you for your support and sympathy about Mischief the Durakitty. I can't begin to tell you all just how much it means to me. Thank you for asking Ed, - Mr Hula is as big a basket case about her as I am right now - more so I think, because she was definitely a Daddy's girl. I'm sorry I've been so tardy in catching up with posts, but Happy Birthday DD, congratulation Red Robin (snicker) and Lori, and Kay and others affected, please stay diligent and safe in the tornado towns. Dusty and Chak - quit with all those yummy wonderful food pictures! I'm jealous! If I win the lottery I'm going to invite me and Mr Hula over to dinner every other day with one or t'other.
