From my experience during the 10,000,000th, the winning post happened on the contest announcement thread. I have a feeling that is where most of the posts are going to be happening again this time.

kewl... then Im gonna find a thread that very little action occurs in and post my bunz off.. that way the mods wont see the obvious occuring there... they will be to busy in the other threads

Haha I actually walked 2-3 miles from most of the houses we lived in as well. So there I'm officially an old folk lolol

We didn't have to walk, but we did have to wait in freezing cold snow or rain for half an hour for the school bus.

I was one of those people who never won anything either and then I won a free trip for two to Hawaii for a week. I thought it was a scam when they called me and told me, but it was legit. All expenses paid.

They said I could take my wife or girlfriend. I had a heckuva time deciding which one. . . . Just kidding!

So don't give up hope.

So... My youngest starts her new private school adventure tomorrow morning. She's very very nervous!

And in other news... I have agreed to go on a 10 day trip via charter bus from Tampa to Bronson,MO with my mother and 100 other senior citizens.

The pressure of being the only child

It takes up an entire city block. I think she's worried about getting lost and not knowing anyone. June is just summer school for all the incoming "freshwomen" (it's an all girls school).

We watched pirates of the carribean and after the kids went to bed hubby and I watched a few episodes of Merlin on Netflix.

Me too. I haven't seen Merlin. I'll have to add it to the que. I heard there's another season of Call the Midwife. I love that one.

thread count has increased to an avg of 560 per hour from 280 just 6 hours ago... if it keeps up at this rate we will be looking at 6 am CST instead of the 9 am I thought it would be at...

Sadie just got word that her friend is in her math class. She's calming down now. She's such a sweetie. We had pizza and she was quizzing me on how it felt when I started a new job or when we moved and I needed to make new friends.

I have barely seen my oldest over the last week. She's racking up a lot of hours at Chipotle now that she's on summer break. To be honest, it's been a nice reprieve.

ya know ... the idea of having all the newbies start early will give them a chance to make friends with each other and not feel so singled out when the rest of the returning students come back...

She's generally a drama free zone, so I'm thinking she'll stay out of it. She's a very different teenaged girl. Hoping she stays so humble and true to herself.
