And aged Legend never tasted better, eh? I'm so happy for you. :)
It's running neck and neck with my Roses , saturation of the wick has everything to do with both of them . The Rose / Stingray X combo will remain my out and about setup , the REO is too pretty to let it get scratched up .

Retic I am happy to hear you are happy with your new gear! I am just reading this. I KNEW you would love the Woody. I bought some Howard's with uv, for my Woodvil. I don't plan on letting this get any sun, but it still gets the treatment. You never know, I may take it out for show and tell sometimes. The metal Reo Grand LP can go anywhere, and if I drop it, it will be fine. If I drop the Woodvil, I think I will most likely cry like a baby.

Knowing how much you love your Roses, I know that's really saying something. It is a beauty! All those Woodvils we've been seeing pics of here are just gorgeous.

This Woody will remain indoors if there's any work to be done or possibility of it getting damaged , who knows maybe I'll get an LP at some point down the road but the Woodville is what I wanted .

I am totally amazed at all the people who have fallen into the "vaping dehydrates you" trap....
they are on the bandwagon of oohhh you need to drink lots of water when you are vaping...
they all claim it but have no proof its happening...
    poor sheeple....

Bridget, yes you are a pup ;) And what a beauty too!

I turn 55 this year. Still young enough for adventures yet old enough to take them. ;)

I've heard the same thing said about drinking coffee - how can something that's over 90% water dehydrate you? It may make your mouth dry, but dehydrate? Come on...

Story Tyme : I overspent and tried to move a couple of Woodvils to some of our friends here on the Big Thread who might not be as active in the Work Market as I am. I know Gary has mentioned wanting a Reos, but unfortunately now was not a good time for him.
So, I contacted Scot via Conversation, and asked if he could help. I didn't know that he was willing to help as much as he did, but he definitely came through for Gary.
This is the Mod Gary received today, with a very special helping hand from Scot :

Ok, think I'm all caught up... Evening Army!!!

Feeling much better today but still not quite 100%. Had a bout of constipation Saturday night - took a laxative before bed and went from one end of the spectrum to the other all day Sunday. Worse thing about it was that both Mama Chak and I had a lot of baking planned that day. Seems like every other tray coming out of the oven was followed by a run to the head. Sorry, if that's TIM, but by 9:30 PM I was thoroughly pooped out.

I would not recommend Epsom salts as a laxative, or would but with a disclaimer to use the smallest dose recommended on the package. The dose on my package said, 2-6 teaspoons devolved in a full 8 oz. of water. It can be divided up throughout the day or taken as a single daily dose. Lemon juice can be added to improve the taste.

I figured 6 was gonna be too much, sure, so I dropped it down to 4 tsp and did the single dose. Two tsp would have been optimum I believe and yes, lemon juice and sugar helps get it down. Man, that is God awful stuff!!

One good thing that came from this episode is that Mama let me sleep in... I put in a full 8 hours sleep and got another old man nap with a hot water bottle in the afternoon.

Oh, the pics I was talking about earlier will be coming up as soon as I can find where I left my phone. Don't worry no pics of the bathroom runs, just some bread and cakes. The multi-grain sourdough came out really nice. Can't wait to try some for breakfast in the morning.

More details on Mama Chak's Nam Prik Pao...

Tamarin pods, there's about 20 pods in each handful here and she used only one handful. Last time we made about twice as much and she used both handfuls.

I think Chak turns 57 this year. So did GT wherever the hell he went to. LA and Robin right behind. April not much behind that. Then Dust. Pap has all of us beat. He's older than dirt. Bridge is a pup and Always the puppiest. That's what makes Always special. Nice to have some youth!!!
57 here also..I thought Papaw was much younger than he is..Idk why I thought that?!? :D

    Morning Army Family.

    Retic..Happy for ya dood!

@Bronze.. love it that 39 is a pup..
Busy weekend, helped a friend move and unpack today; also got to visit with a high school classmate for a couple of hours. Congrats on the Reo Retic. I have successfully made it 7 months without any new hardware. I like it.
What happened,..did you obtain a Reo as well?!? hehe :p

Nice seeing you around lovely young pup.
